  1. Could possibly be the AFM. Check for dry joints in it.
  2. Get a 4 wheel alignment done first. That way you know the wheels are pointing straight. Secondly, what oil are you using for the diff and transfer case? Maybe wrong type of oil used? The diff should not lock up in the driveway. Just some suggestions.
  3. Yeah, you need to put a stock ecu in the car to clear the error code.
  4. I went to last years bathurst 1000 and walked from reid park around to the bottom on friday night. Unless you been there, you really dont know how steep the track is. Unbelievable.
  5. The way council, cops, rta, neighbours are to these sorts of sites and urban sprawl nowadays, you would have to consider having a track somewhere between cessnock and singleton or southwest past central mangrove. Newcastle is way too small to accommadate such a facility nowadays. Too many objections from too many negative people im afraid.
  6. Yeah the motorplex planned for just north of the terrace got canned.
  7. I get mine for free from work and replace them very couple of months but it is hard to find good ones. They all turn to shit from the aussie sun just like window rubbers and trim rubbers nowadays. Just a fact of life I guess. Blame it on climate change
  8. I too would like to know how much of a difference this gizzmo gasket will make? Cause if its any good, well its certainly cheap enough.
  9. Yesterday spotted a grey 34 with gtr plates gtr34n down at warners bay
  10. [...anyone have new owners details? Yeah. Jeff McCloy owns it and he is having drama's with council over it, so you guys have no chance. And no-one could afford to buy it off him anyway.
  11. Remember back at bathurst when george fury ran for Freddy Gibson in the datsun (forget what model) FJ20DET. He qualified on pole, knocking off all the v8's and no-one could believe it. To do that, they had a fire extinguisher mounted in front of the intercooler and aimed it straight at the intercooler core. And on that fast lap, they released the extinguisher to cool the IC and it lasted for most of the lap and what a difference it made. Smashed the lap time needed for pole and no-one could believe that a 4cyl could go that quick. Anyway, it does help to cool your ic cause when your in traffic, your intercooler is a big heat sink. Its only when you get long continuos airflow through it that it works the way it was intended too.
  12. Spotted white r34 4dr pulling out of caltex bridges rd sarvo
  13. Used to use BP Ultimate but been trying vortex 98 for the last month. No noticable difference.
  14. Ok. You might need to replace the leaking one then. Plenty of s/h ones for sale. G/L dude.
  15. The injector bodies dont crack. Its the o-rings that cause the leak or the pintle is not seating properly. Need to get them flowed professionally and fit new o-rings. That will then fix them.
  16. No need to descreen nismo afm's. They will meter just about anything you can give them. You can run stock motor, stock afm, stock fpr making 280kw atw with inj duty at 92 %. All in the tune.
  17. Spotted ULO5EN yesterday along tudor st heading home. A white R32 GTR. Gave a little wave but no response.
  18. Thats alot of buggerising around. You gotta think why you purchased a GTR to start with. They should be appreciated for what they are and not treated like a 180. Go and buy a 180 if you want a thrasher.
  19. That 33 belongs to dennis from denstoj in arnott st cooks hill
  20. Yeah you could take the wiper motor out and measure the id of the hole and find a rubber grommet that would fit nice.Try some wreckers or clark rubber possibly.
  21. It was only optional. Mine doesn't have one either. Just think of it as stage one weight reduction
  22. Generally it takes about two weeks to get a part in from japan.
  23. When I had my N14 pulsar, the compressor in it went on me. It was a zexel. I tried to get mine rebuilt, I even bought a s/h one for parts to make one out of two. I struck the same sort of thing, no-one could or wanted to rebuild it so I was forced to buy a new one from nissan, cost $640 and a regas. no-one seems to have any parts for the zexel.
  24. OK from this partial number it is a r32 gtr ecu from 08/89 to 11/90. The full number is 23710 05U02
