  1. Hey guys, Im not sure if starting a thread is a good idea but ill try i guess... Friday night i pulled over at BP car wash in oakleigh, dandenong rd. bad idea but i thought im driving a honda euro, surely i wont get into trouble. As i parked at vacum parking where you vaccum the inside of your car... Walked out to get some change, drink and toilet, come back out, there is a fine 122 dollars for "stopped-contrary to a no stopping sign" I didnt realise there was a sign posted up by car wash saying "no stopping unless vacuming cars between 930pm to 3am" -The fine doesnt state approx time of offence? -Are these signs valid because they are not vicroads sign? Basically im asking if i should contest this or cop it on the chin.. Thanks in advance.
  2. Either way you got no f*kin clue..
  3. FWD harder to drive than RWD hahahahahahah!!! You must be kidding!
  4. Gee, they want to find out what are opinions are on how to help our addiction, thats fair enough, but to 1: go to kebab shop and scoop our random people 2: involve victims or people affected by hoons sounds very fishy to me. Hope we dont look bad as usual. To who ever might represent us, be very careful but nothing to lose as we all are "hoons" in their eyes anyway

    Drag Times

    here you go http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/173973-sau-vic-drag-times-and-results/
  6. I used to pass rwc, noise epa and full epa with 2871r turbo im my old s15, so as long as it mounts like standard turbo and looks similar, they dont pick on it. I also passed full epa with PFC. Work that one out! Of course no hand controller.
  7. Go to a jap work shop but make sure you book your self a time and state that you want a FULL inspection, compression test, mechanical inspection and structural. Ive been to two "reputable" workshops which i wont name, and they did a "inspection" on my car, one of them hardly looked at the car! So make sure whereever you take it, insist on full inspection, no cost spared! Id be doing: compression test, check mechanical, lift it on hoyst and check under car, check for rust and prior accidents, dyno run etc
  8. Ill be there for a day or two, still not sure which day tho. Those entry prices are a bit pricey tho! But still worth it!

  11. This! Im stuck in a Honda but at least i bought my own place. Save alot of money not thinking about your next "mod" on the car. Not fun but it helps if you do it. Going with a mate because you dont have enough money, well, guess what, you will be even worse off when you by the place...youll be broke.
  12. Cheers for the fav drink (sunkist), i voted for your car because of your great service lol
  13. im in. Also who ever has CB radio, bring it. Its a laugh!
  14. Good luck. Probably try Calder park instead of Heathcote as they will be repairing the track and might take a while. Also, seen your car (video), looks nuts. Good work.
  15. Apparently they are digging up and re laying new surface, concrete instead of asphalt.
  16. In November, ive been busy taking heaps of shots of mates as well as random cars i came across. Here are few that ive chosen to share. Feel free to comment NOTE: This is a hobby to me so dont take my photos too serious. Also, some shots have been taken in public places without owners permission. If there is a concern, PM me and ill remove the photo in question. Thanks -)

Friday 11th, Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th November 2011 All Performance Challenge announced alongside ’Superkruise’ Those familiar with the Heathcote Park All Performance Challenge - which is held in November each year - will be pleased to hear that the weekend has now been extended with a 2.4km ‘Superkruise’ course laid out amongst plenty of car-related activity for crowds to enjoy on the Sunday and live entertainment for the campers on the Saturday night. The All Performance Challenge is one of the largest events on the Heathcote Park annual calendar and attracts a competitive field of almost 150 cars and bikes. As a DYO or dial-your-own race day, the competition is wide open and literally anyone in attendance can walk away with the top prize. Action will kick off on Friday Nov 11 with a Test n Tune session, running all day Saturday and Sunday. This year’s event will offer a substantial prize purse of $10,000.00! This has been a popular request as it offers a transparent arrangement for racers and the opportunity to win a little more than expected. “Increasing the prize purse in recent years has been one of the more popular things we’ve done,” said Russell Clarke, venue owner. “I think people can see that we’re doing the right thing by them and providing them with some fun at a pretty low cost.” Held on the Bendigo Swap Meet weekend, there’s always a huge range of people, cars and bikes at the venue and this year is expected to produce another bumper crop. In addition to all of the usual Drag Racing activity, the Heathcote Park team will set up a cruise course which runs down the drag strip and back along the return road – looping through the Staging Complex. Enthusiasts will be able to kruise the course, enjoy a skid and immerse themselves in a world of all things automotive. “There will be all sorts of stands and stalls scattered right throughout the venue, and of course plenty of cars and automobilia on display as well. People will be encouraged to drive the course and simply pull over in designated areas to get out and look at the different displays and attractions,” said Dean Mesh, general manager for Heathcote Park. “Onsite camping is a real plus for us on these weekends, and in November it’s great weather to be outdoors, particularly in the evenings. This year’s event should be the biggest one yet.” Trade stalls and sites booked in advance are available FREE OF CHARGE to encourage a real diversity amongst the offerings, everything from mobile phone accessories to car parts will be on display and up for sale. Those wishing to participate need only pay the standard spectator admission price, a limited number of powered sites are available for a small fee. Tickets and race registrations are available at the gate. A comprehensive Schedule will be released online in the coming days. Heathcote Park Raceway is Victoria’s leading regional motorsport facility located just 25km south of Bendigo, off the McIvor Highway. Built in 1975 the venue has hosted some of Australia’s largest Drag Racing events and features one of the oldest and longest Quarter Mile Drag Strips in the country, as well as a championship length Quarter Mile Speedway Complex, a 2.3km Off Road Racing Complex, dual lane Mud Racing Course, MotoX Complex and comprehensive Pit, Garaging and Camping facilities. End Of An Era....

    fark!
  24. Maybe its 12K because everyone is put off by his backyard. Dont judge the book by its cover, for all we know, it could be a good car. Go over there, check it out and bring some experts with you that know what to look for. One way to really find out. After all, you are not buying the backyard!
  25. Go sydney for a week. You will appeciate melbourne much more!! Roads and lifestyle
