    Insurance

justcars is a subsidiary of AAMI who is owned by suncorp. AAMI also underwrite for other insurers like bingle and shannons. suncorp also own GIO, NSW's equivalent of AAMI. they own heaps of other insurance companies as well, they're pretty much one of the big players in this industry.

  6. while my godson was getting picked up by his mum after daycare, a sudanese father was also there to pick up their child. my godson had never seen an african man before. he runs up to the man, points at him and calls out at the top of his lungs "hey mummy look, that man has black face". needless to say his mum was horrified, called for her son and promptly exited stage left. another one of my friends had just taken her daughter to the zoo a couple of days earlier, they were at the beach and a very hairy european man was walking past. my mates daughter sees the man and goes "daddy...gorilla!" kids say the funniest things

  21. well when i first moved to sydney i thought it was strange they didn't have hot n spicy all year round. the first time i ordered hot n spicy in sydney, the attendant thought i was retarded, rolled her eyes and gave me attitude about just ordering what's on the menu. but since living in sydney, i've been spoilt with the abundance of variety in food that i don't really eat fast food anymore.
  22. yep another southsider here live in holland park west
  23. i doubt you would catch a mahi mahi off a bridge in the estuary. definitely sounds like a toady by the grunting it makes when out of the water
  24. i moved back to brissy 6 months ago after living in sydney for 7 years. funkymonkey is right in that most people will only be familiar to their locality. but i've found that brissy isn't too big on schnitzels...everyone up here just eats maccas and kfc. choice of food is definitely better down south. i miss the abundance of good indian, thai, japanese, korean and vietnamese food.
