  7. Hey all, Looking to add some braid to my mates R32 and just wondered if there are any suppliers of this in the east Syd area. I'm sure postage is available even if thier not in east syd but would be easier if i have to match something up. Cheers
  8. Sounds like you have it tapped into the wrong place. Why dont you tap into where the factory guage gets its reading from. Its at the back of the balance tube at the firewall side of the vehicle and runs to the black box near your brake booster.
  9. put a fuel pressure guage on it and see what pressure it has. Have seen it many times where the fuel pressure reg stays shut and increases fuel pressure by a lot. can cause this symptom your talking about
  10. maybe a 35R with a .82 rear housing and external gate. Quite responsive units. Have seen those set ups on an rb25 make well over 300kw.
  11. thats provided that they are rotational tyres.
  12. i have had before (believe it or not) the tyres can give you the problem. Swap the front left wheel with the front right wheel and let me know what happens.
  13. what were the intake air temps. the way the microtech timing has been set up seems a little odd. the ign timing should really ramp up to about (depending on the set up of course, and what the engine likes) 34-36 deg by about 3500 rpm and hold a straight line AND THEN your timing adjustment will be made from the other timing map adding about 5 deg in your cruize maps (25 & 20 in) and pulling out overall timing coming on and in boost maps. You can also on the microtech retard timing if air temps or coolant temps get too high. Pics show it was detonating very bad. Let us know your air temps. There is so much more in the microtech also. double check all settings in all areas. (can be confusing)
  14. there are plenty of reputable places in syd that machine and build. I use dominator race engines in guildford for all my machine work. there very good at what they do and are very resonable in their pricing. Hope this helps
