  1. Well i sold this car 2 years ago now and am curious where it ended up. I know its in victoria somewhere and managed a day at sandown. Miss this girl but was fun. Nice trip down memory lane
  2. The 1:10 lap. Unfortunately battery ran out and didnt get the 108 on video. But yeah was solid.
  3. 1:10 before i managed to get the 1:08 which was not on video because the battery ran out
  4. Well well well hello kiddies im back. Yes no update since last year almost 12 months to the day. SAU track day just done and dusted and wow is all i can say. Prior to track day i managed to finally fit a set of second hand shocks and springs. All i know they are blue and double coiled near the top to make them extra stiff. They feel like coil overs. I have pics will eventually get them up. Also fitted a brand new set of Falken semi slick/radials on 17's with a 225/45 fitment and wow did this make a huge difference. The car ran into some minor hiccups on the day mainly not being able to keep the cooler pipes on at only 8psi, and spewing oil out catch can due to me forgetting to empty it after 6 track days . The car went really hard with new spark plugs and fresh fuel.First session I managed a 1:10 which was 5 yes FIVE seconds off my 1:15 previously set. Then a small coolant line to the turbo let go. Fixed that before lunch. Missed the next session due to cooler pipe coming off and leaving me stranded at the middle part of the flip flops. 3rd timed session I drove the ass off it and managed a 1:08! Another 2 seconds quicker and now up competing with some GTRs and a pesky Lemon. (videos of the 1:10 to come) Last session unfortunately wasn't timed but felt a little quicker and I managed to run for around 20min without another cooler pipe exploding off. All in all a great day and looking forward to seeing the videos and uploading them here. Car is now home in my new garage at my new house so some serious mods can now take place as she has proven to me that with some tasteful upgrade she will be competitive for seasons to come. Goin Out Session 1 Cleaning the mess The start of a good day Loaded up ready for home Home safe Results
  5. Im packing a life jacket as im not aloud out in the boat without 1
  6. Plus shes a veteran texi girl
  7. So with this weather all soccer off, to wet to put race car on trailer and stuff around so might bring the boat out
  8. keen to do more events with SAU this year. Might have to enter my first texi in over 2 years
  9. Bumpy Bump Bump Still for sale. Come help fund my next road car.
  10. Bump would consider swap for a road registered Stag or 4 door nissan/toyota. With cash also. had a few recent interests. Once again car can be picked up and tracked the same day. BYO fuel lol. Now has 2 semi slicks to go with and spare rims.
  11. Hey great build mate. First you let an 86 past you haha nah. Go out to wakefield heaps in the formula fords when im training drivers and with the race team. Only tips really i can see from that short video. 1. The 'Kink" before 1 at that speed should be able to be taken flat then straight after hard hard on the brakes aimaing the car to the outside of the entry to T1, downshift in the straight line while braking and then hook her in. (depends on how good your brakes are of course but most cars with decent pads i read you had issues on the day. back to 3rd or 2nd depending on how deep you go in. 2. The left hander going up the hill way more speed can be carried. 3. Turns 3 and 4 at the top of hill can also carry more speed, good lines. 4. the 'Fish hook or T5 and 6 pretty good through there. Maybe can take more ripple strip on that right hander sweeping. and same rule as T1 aim for outside of entry then hook in for a later apex carry more speed out. 5. Other then that the lap looked good obviously had to let the other car throigh which stuffs the lap P.S You know you want the 32
  12. Merry Christmas all. Xmas bump! Car has been proven to run sweet around SMSP full GP track. Now with big WANG! And race numbers. Price still a low $4000.
  13. So North circuit was super fun. Had a great day out. Have managed to get my hands on some second hand dunlop semi slicks in 17s for free off a customer at work which will go on for the next track day so pretty happy. Priced up some ksport coil overs and will be saving for that soon
