  1. I must agree red is faster but everyone has red brakes these days, i want to be diffferent lol.
  2. Well hope easter was good for everyone. So on friday my front calipers arrived. In good condition but unfortunately they have no slides so ill have to find some otherwise the pads wont stay in. I got them cleaned up and sprayed them orange. Originally was gonna be dark purple but couldnt find caliper paint in that colour. Must admit the bright orange shall stand out against the matte black. Also picked up the rear calipers today. Very complete, even came with pretty much new pads. Just need to get the mounting bolts for them. So next to come on the list is get some rotors and then complete the front set up bleed and brakes will be done. Also got myself some 5 core trailer wire so i can wire up the rear end (ie brakes blinkers ect). So now she will stop, now just to make her GO! Fresh out the box Freshly painted
  3. No dramas guys cheers for the tip, ill get it clear coated definately before install and for the time being keep it out of the sun lol.
  4. Cheers bud looks like its clear coated already, for the time being it will just be sitting in my shop inside in the shade so should be sweet. But will double check before fitting to car.
  5. Ok so done a bit of work since last post. The rest of the HICAS has now been removed (fair bit of weight). Power steering pump removed to be modified. (will add picks soon) Engine bay is ready for pressure clean in preperation for a new coat of matte black. And while all this was going on this arrived in the mail! Easter weekend im going to have a nice rest and refuse to touch a car in service terms. But when I return to work RECARO's will be test fitted and hope to start on battery relocation and fuel pump wiring. Happy easter all and will Update again soon.
  6. Pics of engine? any dramas with engine before removal? Does it come with loom. Cheers
  7. Sounds like a great cruise. Shall be in with the beasty all fixed up now
  8. Also just found while sifting through, have the inner boot carpets for the walls of the boot. Not the floor but the sides and back, undamaged, just need a wash. $30

Please dont ask If i have specific things as it was a rolling shell so dont have alot as it is. Only have one pic, but can SMS on request for other items listed. All parts so far are out ready for pickup, Blacktown area. More to come. 10. Well 3/4 of HICAS is out here are some pics. HICAS In HICAS Out, Lock bar in Middle lines removed, Next engine bay. So through the week Rest of HICAS lines will be out Power steering pump modified and some wires run for fuel pump and possible battery relocation. Then a rest for Easter hopefully my brakes might turn up and my other surprise
  11. Yah as you can see i have been delaying pulling the hicas out cause im removing the complete system so a little time is needed. Also been planing out the wiring for Fuel pump and the ignition switch system. (ie. control pannel with 3 switches, push button start and iso switch). And yah BSA I never saw it in the shop but sitting at his parents house in the elements under the tree made it look im guessing alot worse. Wish i had a photo cause it would be an amazing transformation. Im still getting spider webs around the place and a few ants so might have to get some spray out lol.
  12. Definately late nights, lucky my workshop has a room upstairs with a few lounges i can sleep on The engine wont be here till about a month as a mate is doing an Rb26 conversion on his 32 GTSt and is selling me dirt cheap the complete motor, harness, gearbox everything i need. And i know the motor is still good and running. Tomorrow HICAS is out and RECARO test fit Plus clean engine bay.
  13. LOL good news have sourced another RB20det and also some front brakes for stopping, plus a secret surprise
  14. Nice does he want rear seatbelts? just pulled em out, or all the boot lining for the sides and rear i have. Exhaust would be good, but would love an engine to put it on first lol.
  15. Just a small update. Going to clean the boot out tonight (pics to come) but polished the only headlight i have and this was the result. Just some plastic headlight polish and prepsol. Bit of elbow grease and vola! Unfortunately after spending 20 min doing this i went to trial fit to front of car and most of the plastic mounts at the back of the light are broken Well it was good practice. Before: After:
  16. Hey mate location and does it come with loom aswell?
  17. Yah exactly right wolf. Which is exactly the plan ive got. Anything can be drifted pretty much just as long as you keep it reliable then theres no dramas. With more power comes less reliability by pushing components to their limits. I did a TEXI day in my R33 with stock suspension with worn rear shocks and stock motor. Had heaps of fun still Now she has coil overs and adjustable front end you notice the difference and even more fun now
  18. Yah they are cheap but getting harder to find. But if worst comes to worse i can pull it out and just re-seal everything or replace whats broke. My main goal is to just have it running first. Im not a complete thasher of a driver, I try drive hard but without hitting the limiter every 5 seconds Just found out my mate who has a 32 GTsT has put a deposit on an RB26 for his ride so has offered me his RB20 and box for cheap. Then i will only need wiring and computer. See how we go. Also may have a couple of sponsors lined up from some of my local suppliers. One includes a tire shop (Most important )
  19. Yah was just looking for a pretty stock standard engine package to start being on a budget. But alot of people have said consider a 25 but IDK they are still fairly steep and so is the box sitting behind it conidering im trying to get this dont for $4000 or under.
  20. No dramas wolf. The car mainly atm is getting worked on on saturdays, due to not a heap to do atm until i get an engine to pull apart and a box to mount. Just saving atm for the heart of the beast while getting little bits and pieces together. Mounted the Front fiberglass quarters to see how they look. they are pretty shmick well after some paint and proper alignment will look even better
