Hey bud, Thought me being a mechanic and a skyline owner i could give you a few answers. # The grey smoke from the exhaust after sitting there for 3 weeks could be excess moisture burning off from inside te exhaust itself. Condensation will build up inside the exhaust especially in cold temps and being left for 3 weeks. If car is still running smooth with no problems then just keep an eye on it once you drive it more often. And make sure it doesnt have a weird smeel like burning oil or coolant(dont sniff it to long youll die lol) # Does the car have a front mount intercooler? As in aftermarket big silver one in the front bar? If there is a big pipe running from the drivers side to the passengers side that runs over the cooling fan. If so they can touch. would have to probably hear the noise in person to pinpoint any further. #Um the boost controller you speak of im thinking its a boost/turbo timer. This allows boost to be adjusted and the car to idle after key is turned off. If its a greddy item (most common) Check the timer setting for the turbo timer. You can also select to turn the timer off completely and the car will shut down as normal. Set boost at 10psi as a standard. If you have aftermarket boost guage check what boost the car is making to be sure everything matches up. As for the car turning off when handbrake down this is a standard safety/anti theft system which is linked to the turbo timer so a theif cant steel your car while its running with no key (also can be linked to brake pedal switch or clutch. # Good place to find a second hand door and front bar along with anything else are SSS Automotive in Seven Hills. Yah I recently installed the same exedy heavy duty racing clutch similar to the sports. Feels great, again a little more pedal effort is req, still a little give in the pick up point but is ready to engage quickly during track work. Well priced aswell, I got mine trade for around the $550 mark (Trade). Installed myself though so saved some dosh. Would recomend to any daily/track driven under 300kw. Only thing i was dissapointed about was the fact that the pressure plates are no longer the fluro pink lol. Just Silver.

Hey yah ill be there along with a few mates mates. One has a R32 GTR other a yellow R34 no wing. Mine is the Blue R33. Should be parked together along with a blue Jeep. We are getting there about 4:30. Should be good went to the last one. So come look for us and say hi we wont bite.

Thanks heaps to all the organisers. Olivia and myself had a great time driving in our first texi day. The blue beasty went really well. Loved the wet tracks in the afternoon was crazy fun. Thank you especially to all who stood in the rain taking pics/vids and running the starting line/times ect. Cant wait have ordered a copy of the DVD off Eric so now i play the waiting game. They actually when fitted stick out to inline with the bottom of the guard. They clear when car is taken off jacks but just worries about a little scrubbing while cornering/sliding around lol. and they are 205/65/15 not 55 lol.

Yah Falcon 10 points to u lol. Not sure what model but just upgraded my rear brakes put Slotted rotors and new Bendix pads. Test fitted the rims. Fitted like a glove. Just gotta roll the rear guards a little but they clear perfect

Excellent, Just ordered one of those hemets mentioned above also picked up a set of stock steel rims with brand new 205/55/R15's for $150 for all 4. Bargain. Im all set. Excited much!

Hey guys, Ive got a Series 2 R33 GtsT, Mine pulled 199.9hp or roughly 158kw atw stock turbo, stock cooler, stock everything except for a turbosmart t piece boost control running about 8psi and a 3inch dump pipe with standard exhaust to cannon tip(dont ask thats how it was when i brought it lol) Ill throw a pic up soon, also dyno day this weekend now with a FMC and more boost should be interesting to see the difference.

Hey mate, im mechanic by trade ill try help ya. 1) Bov will have to be returned to stock, ie. plumb back as factory, may require pipe change. 2) Intercooler will pass epa providing it is a sleeper front mount with the under pipe not the over the top one. 3) POD filter cover not good enough for the AUVIS. Must be standard air box 4) Recomend after putting stock items back on get it tuned with E10 fuel. Then you will need to retuned for premium after the emission test is done. 5) Exhaust is ok providing it passes a db test which is i think approx. 92db@3000rpm@2meters. 6) Suspension is a touchy one. If you can find stock spring set up would be best. Coil overs are a no no. My mates 32 pretty much got done for all of the above and thats what he had to do to pass. Any other questions just pm me. Sounds good, havent run the 33 on a dyno with the new FMC. Unfortunately my clutch is on the was out but might try get down there and have a look.

Ran the R33GtsT a while back when i returned from adelaide. She ran a best of 14.2 @ 156km/h stock as the day she rolled out of the factory. besides cat back exhaust and 10psi boost.
