Got the Smokey Nagata special a while back from www.seriousbiz.com.au It takes a while for the JDM Option Internationals (English Versions) to be released after the japanese original, and they don't release all of them in English.

If you have the cash to spend, go to www.fifthgear.com.au. They have a 400hp R32 GT-R track car for rent, $900 a day though.

Recently needed a new helmet for a track day, my old one – think cheap Chinese (Bike) helmet wore through and was in pretty average condition after only 4 years and a handful of uses. I initially went out looking for an open face, but was persuaded after trying a few on. Arai has a close face helmet with an extra wide eye port. Best of both worlds I think, closed face, but with great visibility & comfort. Was happy paying more for quality.

Just got the V-Opt DVD's of last years(2008) D1, literally watching now, at one point, the commentators are in the pits, showing Nomuraken's 2007 and 2008 R34's side by side, didn't think/know there were more than 1. As much as I love seeing the 34 being competitive, I do think that both Kawabata(Toyo S15) & Kumokubo(Orange WRX/EVO) are better drifters. I still want Nomura to kick ass... It's a pity Drift Australia got diminished(F#%!), would have love to have seen the D1 guys come to Oz, not just a few Demo's at QLD Raceway. Attached is an early shot of the er34 in development, I believe pic was taken 2004/2005. Looks great!

hi Zilla, you may want to try again with the perspective positioning of the front bar, engine & rear wing. The wheels are good if you Photoshlopped them on, but fine tune the gold overlay. Front Bar changed. On the front bar, I selected the yellow, just using the magic wand, and then using Hue/Saturation to make it greyscale - just used the saturation slider all the way to the left & click OK, with the eye dropper I took a colour sample of the front panel, then used hue/saturation again, clicked the colourize box which matched the slight blue in the panels, click OK. I then used Levels to get the right depth in colour.

That Blitz R35 will be ken nomura's drift car for the 2010 D1 Series. Blitz should badge it the Nissan GTS-R, maybe. Either way, can't wait for it to get sideways next year. Admittedly the Super GT cars are not AWD (bring back the Group A R32's!!!), and from next year will be using the VK45DE V8 that the previous 350z's used and which the FIA Le Mans GTR will also utilize, seems the vr38 isn't as venerable as one would hope.

Haven't been a member here long, but recognised your car immediately, and funnily enough, had High Performance Imports 92 handy, I just copied the spread on page 20/21 of the side view, you'll notice the highlights are very similar. TWOO6L is all quality, what a car.
