Yeah, that's just around the corner from my house. Haven't seen it lately though. It didn't look like it was in the best condition though, looked pretty stock too.

Fark, that's no good!! I hope he learnt his lesson! Too many tools that can't drive doing burnouts up there these days. The surface is that farked up there I wouldn't even consider doing doughies or a big burnout. For that reason I don't like parking my car there on a Friday/Saturday night. The worst time to go up there is when it's raining, all the hero's in their Commonwhores come out and "try" and do burnouts, nearly collecting parked cars in the process. Yep, he does live in Grovedale. There is another guy in Grovedale who got a R33 GTR a few months back. I forget what colour it is, maybe white? He recently had to get the front end repaired as someone hit him in the Waurn Ponds carpark. He told me a new aftermarket cooler was cheaper than a genuine brand new GTR cooler from Nissan!! Don't see it around much as the dude has an old beaten up maroon XD V8 Falcon as his daily driver.

R32 skyline vs Silvia (sr20det)

I've never had a problem getting parts for my S13, just go to your local Nissan dealer and they can get most parts within a few days. -
Go check out the For Sale section at NissanSilvia.com, they usually have a few S13 for wrecking. Link http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...php?showforum=8

I guess that doesn't really surprise me, the way I've seen him ripping it up lately... Yeah, I'm keen for a GOR run in a few weeks before it's too hot for my standard cooler. I need to wait until I get my replacement diff installed, I've been on a few GOR runs in the last 3 weeks which has made my LSD fubar!! Depending on how many people and who comes, we should be able to stay at my grandparents holiday house in Aireys Inlet. Have a few drinks and it should be a good night!! I'm planning on going down soon as one of my friends with a R33 is moving to Canada for a few years and we want to go for one last burn. So if anyone in Geelong wants a silver R33 (shameless plug!), PM me. It has the following mods: Full kit (Type M kit I think) Buddy Club P1 17" wheels Tein adjustable coilovers Aftermarket diff (unsure of exactly what it is) Full Kakimoto exhaust M's K&N pod Sparco fixed bucket seat Momo race steering wheel (Jap version, a bit smaller than the one available over here) Very good condition... PM me for more info!

R32 skyline vs Silvia (sr20det)

How the hell did you get a non-turbo S15? They were never sold over here and you can't import them, unless you lived in Japan for 12 months and then privately imported it. -
Not in a carpark, it was parked on a side street. That's the story I heard directly from him, anyhoo. Saw him tonight and he said it's running stock boost, 7psi. Is this possible with full exhaust and pod? Seriously, every time I go into town, day or night, he is always there cruising around or up at Shagga's (not that I have a problem with that). Any Geelong people up for a Great Ocean Road cruise to Apollo Bay in about a month or two's time?

Wasn't his fault though. Had his car parked up near Crown Casino and when he came back some bastard had smashed into the rear of his car and drove off without leaving their details. Poor dude, you'd be pissed off to say the least!! On another note, do you know if that R33 is a real Tommy Kaira car?
-
Yeah, you'll be right once you get used to the car (I'm assuming you haven't had it for long).

Bah, 1st gear burnouts are for PU$$Y'S!!!! :flamed:

The best r32 GTR i've ever seen

But does yours have service history like this one? If it doesn't I can almost guarantee that the odo has been wound back. -
I found this on a Commondore site, it's kind of automotive related. There appears to be some doubt if this is actually an RB engine, can anyone confirm/deny?

I'm pretty sure on the Drift Bible he says replace the diff every month if drifting FIVE days a week, like he did when he first started.

The problem with this is if you come across a good police officer who was only going to give you a warning, when you pull the dictophone out and start recording he'll do EVERYTHING by the book and fine you! No way is that harsh when talking about this prick. He deserved getting his house burnt down and everything that is yet to come. People who haven't yet encounted Pettiet simply don't understand how much of a bastard this guy is. If he see's an import driving at the speed limit going in the opposite direction he'll do a u-turn and hunt them down, even if it means putting his sirens on and running a red light. He'll pull over any and every import he can. When asked "why don't you defect all the cars covered in rust with headlights/tail lights not working" he simply said "I hate imports and I hate P plates". The sooner this arsehole gets the sack the better!!

Are you friggen serious? I can get this sticker made up for $5!!!! What a joke!

Cars, parts and beer. (questions for the SAU gaijin) :)

Try the FD out, see how you fit. I was talking to a guy today who is 6'7" who used to own an S13, he said it was a bit small but not too uncomfortble (sp?)... I doubt an FD's interior would be smaller than an S13's, but I may be wrong.... -
Weird things you skyline does

This also happens in my S13 SR20det Silvia when cold. I don't think it's a problem, it's normal when the car is cold. -
That's a GTT, not a GTR. Typical ricer? What ricer has 468ps?? Rice typically means all show and no go. If your car has that much power, it is acceptable to have a bit of "rice". RB doesn't stand for anything, it's just a model name. What does FJ or VG stand for?
-
Haa haa ha!!! :bs!: That's the funniest thing I've ever heard!! A D1 R34 GTR!! What a load of crap? Why the hell would they make a R34 GTR a drift car? If anyone has any info or pictures about this car, I will believe it then, but until I see pictures I'm not going to believe this for a second!!! Off topic, but RB does not stand for "Race Bred". It's just a model name. Do you really think an RB30e is a Race Bred engine?? I think not....

I need more points...

If I was you I would of put the handbrake on halfway so the brake lights wouldn't show. That would of made the cops job a bit harder.
-
Damn those Aristo's are fat!!! One of those with a manual conversion is my dream car!!! MMMMmmmm...... 2JZ... :drooling:
-
What the hell?? We can't import S14 Silvia's in Australia...
-
This would have to be one of the most stupid thing I've heard in a long time!! Pre programmed specs for cars?? What about modifications to cars? Pre programmed specs would be for stock cars only!! I sure hope this idea never goes ahead. Make sure you show this guy this thread so he can see what the average car-enthusist thinks of his idea.

I'm planning on ordering some Whiteline adjustable swaybars for my S13 today, but I've heard good and bad stories about the Whiteline bars. I don't know which to believe. Has anyone compared the Whiteline bars to a Jap brand such as Cusco, ARC or Nismo? Is it really worth paying almost double the price of the Whiteline bars for a quality Jap brand? Please help!!
