  1. Why bother? The offsets are pretty much exactly what you want anyway...
  2. f**k this is going to be awesome!! I would love to have a worked E30 M3 to surprise those morons with no clue who think its just a riced up 'ol BMW!!
  3. Mate you'll be doing well if you get $1000 for them...
  4. ^^^ Tsk tsk tsk!! You should check the Wanted To Buy section more often! If anyone wants to buy a set of Volk TE37 17x9.5 +12's contact me and i'll buy these GT-C's!
  5. My Kaaz 2 way was run as per the recommended run in procedure and it is near silent. Barely makes any noise at all
  6. Hey mate, do you still have the 5 stud hubs along with discs and rotors? How much for all? Can you please PM me, i don't check this site very often.
  7. Damn!! Where were you last week when i had my wanted to buy add for tough Jap wheels?? These would of been perfect! I just brought a set of TE37's...
  8. As mentioned before TE37's look pretty average unless you get them in a low offset. Notice in the pics of the black R33 above the front ones look pretty average with the flat spokes, but the rear ones have a concave look. Anything below about +22 have the tough concave look, so if buying 2nd hand you might have to wait a bit before the right sizes and offsets turn up, but it'll be well worth the wait! Definitely lip your guards. If you have no experience doing this yourself it will be best just to pay someone to do it. Costs approx $50 per corner. I see you live in QLD so look in the QLD section, there might be a stickied thread in there already with a recommended business who do guard rolling, if not, use the search function and if still nothing, start a new thread!
  9. Unless the laws have changed in the last 1 or 2 years you won't get sentenced to jail the 2nd time your caught. You'll most likely get a one month suspended sentence for 3 months or so... Are you retarded? Just because you have no licence you can't do anything? Complaining you can't go to the gym because you can't drive there? Your trying to get fit, ride a f**king push bike to the gym you pansy. Unless you live out in the bush you can get anywhere you need to on a push bike, the local shops, gym and if its too far ride to your nearest train station or take public transport. Now i'm not having a go at anyone for driving without a licence, we all do stupid things and sometimes have to learn the hard way. I myself have lost my licence, continued to drive regulary and been caught multiple times and have been punished HARD. I haven't had my licence for about three years now, i get it back in 18 days though! Now that i look back on it, it was an extremely stupid thing to do (driving unlicenced) but I have learnt by mistakes and haven't driven in over two years now. To all the people complaining about how their life is over because they don't have a licence: ride a bike to work, too far? Get a new job, move house, use public transport! As for your social life, get your friends to come over to your house instead of going there, get a friend to pick you up when going out. There is always another way. To listen to these drongo's complaining they can't do anything because they don't have a licence is pathetic, eat a cup of concrete and harden the f**k up!
  10. If you get TE37's make sure you get a low offset, such as +22 or lower, then you'll have the concave look spokes. High offset TE37's look very average... EDIT: Saw that you drive a R34 GTR, so obviously if you'll be after low offset wheels if you wish to fill out those guards.
  11. I say stock bodied as in metal guards and not fibreglass wide body, but they will be lipped and flared. With a suitable flare and a 235 tire, even with the planned -0.5 to -1.0 camber i'll be running a 10" wheel will be fine. It's going to be tough as f**k, thats why i'm being fairly picky about wheels and want something thats fairly recent and not too old, i want everything to be just right!
  12. Yeah, i saw Locky's wheels on N.S.com a while ago, but they are ghey offsets and i'll have to use spacers. Hmm, i tried to edit the original post to include the offsets i'm after but i could only edit this post? WTF? Anyway, i'm after +0 for the front and +12 for the rear, if the fronts are 1?x9.5 around the +12 - +18 offsets...
  13. I suggest looking on www.nissansilvia.com 2 way diffs for R200's come up fairly often there.
  14. ^^^ The wheels are going on a stock bodied Silvia, so no way of those fitting unless i run copious amounts of negative camber, which i don't want to do! Thanks anyway...
  15. I totally understand you saying you don't want imprisonment on your record as it will/may affect you later in life, but the stuff you mentioned about the "bend over service" is total rubbish which is near non existent in Australian jails and getting "shanked" (shived is the Australian word) never happens without a reason and seeing as you would most likely serve your time in a minimum security prison farm it has pretty much zero chance of happening.
  16. ^^^^Look on the inside of the rim, there should be a sticker saying what offset they are. You'll have a very tough time (read: near impossible) selling rims if you can't provide info on what offset they are...
  17. I'm after some tough Jap rims in good condition. With the way the Yen is at the moment its been a nightmare trying to find suitable wheels in the sizes i'm after for a good price. I need to find a set asap Sizes i'm after is 17x9 (front) and 17X10 (rear). 18's are also fine depending on price and 1?x9.5 and 1?x10.5 will also be considered. Wanting something along the lines of TE-37's, VSK-f's, GT-C's, GT-N, SSR Professors, SA-70TT's, TC-105N, etc... Would prefer tyres, although not necessary...
  18. If I were you and couldn't win in court, i'd rather go on an all expenses paid holiday to jail for 14 days ($100 per day is paid off your fines) than pay the government the fine. You'll get meals cooked for you, have plenty of time to exercise and a story to tell the kids!
  19. For a $100 that is a deal you cannot beat. ARC make some of the best coolers out there and no doubt the small sidemount would do a better job than some of the cheap FMIC's...
  20. A pair of Toyo R1-R's, 265/35/18 (90% tread) for a ride in it. Who knows, he could have another car in need of some good tyres. There, beat that! I'm winning the auction so far.
  21. Get the real deal, get Work Equip's.... Much better quality and better offsets.
  22. Ha, exactly! None of these cars posted are sleepers at all. Usually a sleeper is a car that you would not expect to be fast and/or looks like shit. All these cars posted here look pretty nice and most people know the potential that Skylines have. Megalol at people posting GTR's up as sleepers... That 323 above just looks DANGEROUS.... Ha, pretty cool though
  23. Get the R33 manual. You'll be kicking yourself in the long run if you end up getting the auto. I've heard so many people say they'll buy an automatic car and then convert it to manual a few months later. It rarely happens...
  24. I wouldn't call 100rwkw for a NA 2.0 four cylinder "really low". Certainly nothing too flash, but compared to Aus spec S14 and S15 SR20det's which make around 120rwkw its not too bad.
  25. I'd also recommend getting a mechanical LSD, either 1.5 or 2 way depending on what the car will be used for. Do a search here on mechanical LSD's or 2 way LSD's and you'll find all the info you neeed.
