  1. ^^ Come along then man, its gonna be an awesome night! I love my dirty d&B and breaks also!!
  2. I've noticed there's quite a few metalheads from Adelaide so i thought i'd post this up here. Victorian band Veil of Anguish are making their way over to Adelaide to slay the crowds with their unique blend of black/thrash/extreme metal. Support acts include Art In Exile, Quasar and Saeturnum. The Enigma Bar, 173 Hindley St. Doors open at 8pm and entry is $10. So come down for an awesome night of booze fuelled fun and support some local metal! I'm travelling down from Queensland to play synth for my old band Veil of Anguish. Due to problems with the keyboardist they had been using, they asked me if i'd like to play the Adelaide show with them so i jumped at the chance. It will be great to play with the band again after been away for more than 1.5 years and tear it up for a new crowd! So if you're free on Saturday come down and check us out and say hi if you see me! Support Aussie metal!
  3. Paint looks really good but personally i don't like the design. But that means nothing as long as you like it. Good on you for trying something different.
  4. Contact Streeter on the Nissan Silvia forums. He'll be able to get them brand new for you in Japan cheaper than anyone else. Guaranteed! He has an awesome reputation...
  5. Look for another set of wheels mate, they are more suitable for a Honda rather than a Skyline with those pissweak offset and widths. It would look like absolute crap.
  6. ^^ Even still a 205/35/18 will still fit easily on a 8" rim. A 215/35/18 will be fine on a 9" rim.
  7. You're thinking of getting Gram Lights or Dickteks? A decent quality Japanese wheel compared to cheap Chinese shit that every wog and his dog has? Get the Gram Lights, look way better but get them in 18", in that chart you linked in your first post the 17's come in no decent offsets...
  8. ^^^ Goddamn they are the most RETARDED looking spoiler EVER invented.
  9. Why the hell did you bother getting wide guards and then intend on getting wheels that won't fill them at all? It will look like absolute crap. To get those wheels with a +35 offset looking decent, you'd need 100mm spacers and thats just not going to happen. Those 18x11 -19 wheels will fit with EASE if you stretch some 255 tyres over them. Don't be weak, get them!
  10. You want the "JDM look" but you don't want to flare the guards? To fit some decent wheels you'll need to flare the rears at least a little. Don't be weak, if your going 17" go 17x9" +17 front and rear. Will fit with ease with stretched tyres and rolled gaurds and a light flare on the rear.
  11. 205 on a 8" rim is fine, 215 on a 9" is pushing it a little but definitely possible. Not the best pic, but you still get the idea, here's a pic of my car with a 205/50/16 on a 8" rim, barely looks stretched at all...
  12. This is definitely the best option, looks very neat and clean and doesn't stand out too much.
  13. Ha, sorry guys. I put the wrong pic up before. Its now fixed...
  14. You're fuggin joking right? You think the old style tail lights in the 1st pic look better than the updated Type X style lights? The older style look absolutely terrible compared to Type X lights!
  15. gimmie a E... Seriously, they look gay man. There, you asked our opinion and got it. If you can handle people laughing at you and your car, go for it! If not, stay away from Gheyside.
  16. I wouldn't bother fapping over those gay homo offsets. Wouldn't touch those with a 10 foot pole...
  17. Very true! The factory GTR rims look heaps better than these.
  18. ^^^ Wrong. 18x9.5 +12 all around will fit fine with rolled and flared guards with stretched tyres. Do it the Japanese way and buy the wheels and make the car fit them, not buy the wheels to fit the car. Don't be weak... Will look tough as.
  19. No, thats where you're wrong. IMO, if they DON'T stick out you've got the wrong offset. Wheel fitment will make or break the look of a car. Nothing worse than sunken wheels. Contact Primal Garage in West Footscray, they specialize in this sort of work on Japanese cars. They'll be able to do it no worries. If I were in Melbourne i wouldn't use anyone else.
  20. This is just my opinion, as you asked, so don't worry too much... I think those wheels look like horrible, cheap, Tempe Tyre spec wheels. Definitely not suited to a tough GTR like that, imo some quality Jap wheels would look 100 x better. But hey, just my opinion, so if you're happy with the wheels thats all that matters.
  21. Yeah, of course! Turbo cars just "suddenly hit boost" and the world ends!! */end sarcasm* If you don't know what your car is going to do (turbo, V8, anything) when you accelerate you shouldn't be driving it, period.
  22. Bah, you're complaining about losing your licence for 3 or maybe six months? I haven't had a licence for almost 2 years and still have 10 months to go!! It sure does suck but you sort of get used to it. I ride my push bike now when i can't get lifts, at least i'm getting fit!
  23. Haha, sorry mate, i think you're a little confused. When i said those rims were the worst possible rims, i was talking about the rims the topic starter had posted, those Vault Crystals or whatever they are. The rims that R31 Drift Pig posted are tough as f**k, totally awesome!! Oh, i was being sarcastic about the Veilside kit. You know, Veilside would suit the Vault Crystals?
  24. Seriously, those rims would have to be the WORST possible rims you could ever buy, utterly shocking!! Couldn't buy a worse rim. But hey, thats just my opinion, which you asked for. As long as you like them thats all that matters. After all, we need someone to laugh at and brighten our day!! Ohhhh, you should get a Veilside kit! Will compliment those wheels nicely!!
