hi soljah, best place I have found is actually JB HIFI. If you talk to Dean S. from the Miranda store he can help you out. Will probably recommend a JL Audio amp around 1000W RMS or Kicker which is I believe 1200RMS. Make sure you dont skimp on the amp running that sub because it need every lil bit it can get. Also look into running 0 gauge wiring to it, forget 4 gauge its too small. Good Luck,,,

yeah i got done by the cops because i had both cooler and pod and I talked to my engineer and he said box the pod and it should be ok. Also depending on the model of the car some of them have holes already from previous piping... my R33 has got 2 pr 3 factory cut holes approx 80mm wide. It bring cold air into the box from the wheel arch.

Mate the horn fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet on the left hand side, if you look at the inside of the cover of the fuse box it will clearly state which fuse is which. Im pretty sure its a 15A fuse. I was confused too recently and found it on a different site after hours of searching, the japanese description is on the outside of the fuse box but the english is on the inside. Keep in mind you can get defected for a non-working horn...

Yeah it was HWP and they knew what an IM240 test was and I didnt so he tried using the term as often as possible to make me sound dumb. He clearly wrote it in the defect column so that I could choose to remove the FMIC or get the test done. I have just got a standard CAT converter installed today that can bolt in and out and have got a cover for the air pod being installed tomorrow. Im hoping it drops the dB by 3 or else its still to loud. Im hitting 92dB at the moment and need to be under 90. Sadly all my friends have WRX's etc. not a skyline. But once the defect is removed im getting everything engineered, just sick of the b*llsh*t.

And doesn any one know where I can get emissions tested prior to RTA testing?? Cheers. Thanks all.

thanks mate is there an easy way to clean the air sensor or is it a replacement job. Also I got my exhaust checked for noise and it read 95db which is a fail as it has to be under 90db. Any ideas on dropping the volume... ???

I got pulled over last night and the guys were too lazy or didnt know how to test me instead they defected me and asked me to complete an IM240 test for emissions. Not sure if I will pass though, aftermarket FMIC, exhaust and POD?? Apparently its pretty common though particularly in rural areas. I got done in the Hunter Valley.

Hi all, got booked for my first time EVER last night in the Hunter Valley by Highway Patrol and got defected for FMIC, Exhaust, POD Filter, and now I need to get a IM240 test done for emissions... problem is I dont want to get my car tested till its fixed and I dont know who can help??? Once its fixed I plan to get it all engineered but need it fixed by the 14th Jan. Most mechanics are closed for holidays at the moment. Any ideas who can help me in Sydney??? (The pod filter is getting a box put around it in 3 days time so thats all good)
