  1. Wow, that car is from Kagoshima! (According to the owner's manual cover)
  2. Hello. This and SDU are the only English-language Skyline sites I can find. I'm not Australian, but maybe you folks can help a Yank in need. I have an R32 GT-R and I recently got new tires. I drove around for a while and I noticed that when I go over 70km/h, the steering wheel will slightly start moving to the right, but the car will stay straight. As I slow down, the steering wheel will straighten out again. It's kind of scary. This only happens sometimes. Also, when the HICAS light is on, it doesn't happen at all. This didn't happen before I put the new tires on, but I don't see how new tires would be the cause. The tires are the same size as the old ones. Is the HICAS system doing this? I had a mechanic check the steering rack and he said it was fine. He's the same guy who put the tires on. I trust this guy since he's been my mechanic for a while and I know he won't BS me. I told him about the problem, but when he test drove it....it didn't happen (of course). He recommended that I remove the HICAS system regardless of what is causing the problem. I'm completely new to Skylines. I came from years of driving Impreza WRXs, but defected to Nissan. Thanks in advance!
