  1. Hi Mate none in stock, but I'll keep my eyes open for you Cheers Aaron
  2. If I hadn't picked up my LE37T last night, I would jump on these. As you say, this size is RARE. Whoever scores these is lucky. In pics they don't look any where as good as they do in the flesh - the quality of finish on these is better than any other forged jap rim. The paint is almost piano flat and the gloss is brilliant. Someone should jump on these.
  3. Advan Oz cleared a heap of stock out, but 17" vs 18" is an unfair comparo in any case
  4. Yep same boat here, VIA's were all being processed manually last I heard. DOTARS system crashed, data wiped and has been intermittently up and down since. We have several cars with compliance complete sitting waiting for DOTARS to clear them - have been waiting since early this month. And those that have been cleared, half the time they're not sending the details to Niddrie Name Plates to issue the actual compliance plate. If this were a private enterprise, they'd have 11ty lawsuits on their hands but as it's the GOVT, leave a msg and they'll return it sometime. If they feel like it and don't *accidentally* delete the msg first. And don't dare mention the VIN of the car you're enquiring about, or it goes to the back of the list. As with every other aspect of vehicle importing - put your patience hat on and don't take it off til the thing is registered. Otherwise, it'll just do your head in. Won't it Mr Eps? This is the precise reason I don't ship a vehicle til I have a VIA in hand!
  5. An all time fave wheel of mine, totally under rated! One question though - I thought they only went as wide as 10" with the TC2 - these are definitely 10.5"? Beautiful set, lighter than TE37s etc well worth the money
  6. Hi Guys, I just got a few sets in to stock. 100% brand new, 100% Genuine Nismo. No adaptors needed, they are plug and play fitment unlike the trusty Z32 AFMs $995 a pair! Express Post anywhere in Australia for $10 or pickup from us at our shop in Bayswater, VIC Cheers Aaron
  7. Hi Guys, I have this set of R34 GT-R seats for sale. Originally was going to use material from the rear seat to tidy up the bolster of the drivers seat to go in my R32. Have Recaros now instead so these are surplus to requirements. VGC, except for the drivers bolster which is worn through in one spot. Please check pics, pretty common on seats with big chunky bolsters like these. $1500 for the fronts and rears. The rears are a little dirty from hanging around the shop, will need a clean. Don't want to seperate unless someone wants the rears on their own first. Really, consider the rear seat a freebie you can sell if you don't need it Pricing is firm Can ship anywhere in Oz at buyers expense, promptly and fully insured. Pickup is available from Bayswater, happy to drop off for you if you're not too far away too. These bolt straight into any R32 or R33. Rails need to be altered or replaced to go in a non GT-R R34. 19. Hi Mate unknown at this point, will speak with Racepace and see if they retained them. The MFD was removed and replaced with a V-Spec Nismo one.
  20. Very true, but of course the RAW who does the first test car then flogs off the evidence packages to other RAWs, recouping much of this and easing the pain for other RAWS. Not uncommon for a few workshops to share the cost of the initial test car - they'll also then sell the plates for a premium vs other cars, until the other RAWS catch up. Case in point is the E51 El Grand. Only 6 months ago there were two RAWS holding compliance and both charging $3500 ex GST. Nowadays, $2700 is the norm and more RAWS coming on board all the time
  21. also good for some Hondas mate
  22. The major issue here is that the average punter wanting a car imported gives no fark for the work required to meet ADR's. He/she doesn't care about the cat needing replacement, child restraints being installed, that the car must be scrutinised for hours to check part numbers are correct as per evidence and so on. All they care about is the little purple sticker and let's face it, pretty much the only time there is a complaint is when there is an issue come time to register the car. But tell someone prior to offering them compliance that they need to lose their Xenons and watch them walk to the next RAW who will let them keep them. Add in that the process for registering fresh imports is different from State to State and that just Many of the guys I talk to and deal with through the importing process (from a customer point of view) either don't believe the work required to achieve compliance and think their money goes straight into the RAWS pocket in full in return for the compliance plate, or they are wanting to try and find a way around doing it - like reusing a mate's exhaust and headlights. Whether right or wrong, they look at a country like NZ or the UK where all they need is to get the car in, take it for an MOT or WOF without any of the hoops we have to jump through and they see the whole compliance and RAWS scheme as another beauracratic bunch of redtape designed to make their lives miserable. If they could see some of the epic POS that came through and ended up on our roads pre RAWS, they'd get it - they'd understand the need. But as it stands, due to the massive restrictions we are under vis a vis what can and can't be imported, compliance is seen as just another extension of that. Honestly when I explain that it can take $15-20k and 6+ months for a single RAW to achieve compliance for a vehicle, people are stunned. Then they start doing the maths. Yes, it really will take 15-20 cars complied before the RAW can even think about making some money on their investment. Not to mention the setup process and costs, the ongoing audits and the fact that with the points system, doing a customer a "favour" by leaving this or that on for compliance can cost them their livelihood. None of this is really public knowledge and many parts of the industry like to keep that "secret squirrel business" aura of mystery around it, so are loathe to share this info. Education is key
  23. cool, well they're Bronze in colour which is the most popular - so that helps. There will be a blue and white sticker on the inside of the rim which will have the width and offset listed. Will say something like 17 x 8 ET35 PCD 5 x 114.3
