  1. Camber is 1 degree out, and its on the left front so you might notice the car pulling slightly to that side. You have a heap of caster (which is good). Other then that there's no specified values for toe so who knows if its out or not, it will normally tell you the range for that specific car. If its not scrubbing tyres or pulling I'd say leave the car as is, if you want it set up for track maybe get a proper alignment done at a recomended place, just be carefull where you go, you would be very surprised how many wheel alignment places dont know wtf they are doing.
  2. Wtf is going on with all these stolen skylines, there has been atleast 4-5 within the last month or so and all the s.e burbs. Ill keep an eye out for your GTR.
  3. Paid 9.5k for a 40th anniversary R33, bog stock. I was looking for 2-3 months, I think I looked at just about every 33 that was on carsales (series 1 and 2). 97,000kms (genuine? who knows) Manual Mint interior Exterior 8/10, getting r/h/r quater resprayed (I'm a picky bastard ) I was actually surprised at just how many 33's out there that are just sh*t and have alot of issues, alot look good in pics but are complete rubbish in real life, crunching gearboxes, dodgy resprays, bent chassis rails and/or completely non existent sills, makes you wonder who actually buys these, not that mines perfect but still didn't expect it to be so hard to find a good 33 that wasnt completely demo'd, considering the amount of 33's around.
  4. If you just flick your high beams your rear parkers/tail lights wont come on, no need to brake at all unless you are actually turning the head lights on/off instead of using the high beam.
  5. Your worse then me with changing cars haha
  6. I thought most queers had evo's , hence the queer looking dash. In all seriousness Im just picking on one minor thing, there great cars but I would definently prefer the interior of a GTR or an STI.
  7. Atleast I know now for when I do my coilovers
  8. Lol who said anything about wanting luxury? I was talking about the fact that the design looks like it came from the 380 or a commodore, IMO its doesnt fit the feel of the car at all, they could of atleast gave it a proper looking dash.
  9. If your not mechanically minded then dont attempt it, you need a spring compressor to safely get the old ones off. It is pretty straight forwared though, jack car up, remove wheels, remove struts from the car, swap springs (and/or replace shocks), refit. If you dont have a spring compressor then maybe just get a workshop to do it. Im pretty sure you dont need to remove the rear seats for the rear struts, I'll have to check mine but access is from the boot (I think).
  10. Ill grab em, where you located?
  11. Interior is far worse on an evo then a wrx, looks like full granma spec intertior with bucket seats added, dont know what they where thinking with the dash design . All the 2.0 wrx's suffer from lag with anything bigger then the stock turbo, the weight of a gd is like 1350kg plus, sti is around 1450kg, its way way to heavy for a little 2.0. Thats why the gc8's are so popular, can get them under 1100kg pretty easy.
  12. What could possibly go wrong?
  13. You wont have any problems with the car running on 95 as long as its tuned correctly, but you'll notice a big big power drop, you want be able to run anywhere near as much timing, I can only imagine you'll loose alot of torque aswell. These engines were really designed for 100ron jap fuel so even 98 is a compromise at best. Engine knock shouldn't be an issue if its tuned correctly for 95, any tuner who knows what there doing will allow a safety margin so it never knocks. I think the question is why even bother running it on 95, if your fuel card is only for 95 then buy a daily and use the fuel card on that, I personally wouldn't spend money getting a car tuned for 95.
  14. I wouldn't buy a Gtr, especially with a loan. I've been there with 20k plus loans and its just a pain in the ass as you dont actually own the car. 32's are getting very very hard to find without rust and without issues, just about every 32 GTR ive seen that hasnt been reprayed/restored has rust somewhere on it, whether its the front floor pan, rear quarters or jacking points. Even my gtst had rust holes from the squashed sills, was pretty surprised to find it. You'd be much better of getting a 33/34 s14/s15 thats in good nick, GTR's are for people with plenty of cash to maintain them, yes you might have no problems with one but when you do it will cost you a f**k load more compared to fixing a GTST. Each to there own but I think you would be making a very bad financial decision buying a 32 GTR.
  15. Hi all, Just bought a series 2 33, while the car on a whole is very neat and clean Im still not overly happy with the r/h rear quater, looks to have been resprayed at some point and blended halfway up the d piller, the paint its looks fine but the amount of metallic in the paint is completely different to the l/h side and it stands out in direct sunlight. Theres no evidence of accident damage so Im assuming it was just touched up for sale when it was imported last year by the car yard. I could just leave it but Im a picky bastard Just wondering how much it would roughly cost to just get that part re blended, as theres no repair needed just a re blend of the paint I was hoping it would cost less then 1k? Its the section from the bumper/tailight up to the d pillar, so basically only half of the rear guard. If it was a flat color I would just do it myself but im not confident with metallic paint. Any help appreciated. Cheers.
  16. Looks good, the 34 wheels go well with white skylines.
  17. Ive seen unrego'd GTR's go for about 10k, so thats my offer
  18. Offset?
  19. Might wanna change to return type cooler piping, a hole cut for piping is a big no no on a series 2. Nice car though
