  1. Just need roadworthy cert and then transfer, no big issue there. Depending on where you live you could have no issues or a lot of issues with your skyline, just try to avoid the knox area and you should be ok.
  2. They deleted my post? In all seriousness what do you expect from that side of town.
  3. They are a lot wider, I sat in one in a mates Stagea, I would go sit in it first, I'm pretty skinny and didn't find that it hugged as much as I thought it would.
  4. ^^^ Depends hugely on budget.
  5. Entry for myself and Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaark ryan emailed
  6. Just go by what the tyre manufacture recommends, I still don't understand the logic behind people stretching tyres, if you can't fit the rim under the guard buy wheels that fit, don't stretch tyres. Not having a go at the OP btw, obviously a 10 will fit on a GTR but just so sick of seeing all this stretched tyre crap. Both tyre sizes are listed as fitting a 10 for the rsr, so either is fine.
  7. Not trying to go to far of topic here but have you found the united e85 to be consistent? I know someone was telling me there can be big jumps in octane at times.
  8. Don't think e85 is really 'daily' material, not yet anyways. I personally think there a great car, just to bad most if not all on the roads these days are farked, they always seemed to be owned by chromed wheel wearing, autosalon paint spec bogans, atleast in vic anyways.
  9. Is that extra or do they all come with that?
  10. Don't forget though that there pretty boaty at over 1500kg compared to a r33 etc. I have never driven one but knew someone that had one, he told me they are a great car just a bitch to work on
  11. Op6 rear housing is a little big for a 20, considering you can't run a lot of boost through them I wouldn't bother, better of selling one he has and buying a 2530 or similar, at least will have the potential to make decent power and have great spool.
  12. Something doesn't ad up, must have low fuel pressure or something to cause it to run lean. Best thing to do would be to check you fuel pressure, pump etc
  13. Someone at work recommended 360 diff and gearbox in Bayswater. Quote was min $350 if straight install and up to $660 if it needs bearings etc. Sound like a good price? Contemplating doing it myself but really cbf having to setup backlash etc
  14. Just installing the lsd centre, I will take the diff out of the car and bring it to them.
  15. Hi all, Can someone recommend a good diff place that will install my 2 way Tomei. I would go to transdiff but heard some bad stories about them recently. Thanks.
  16. Before I bite the bullet and buy the td05 16g is there any restriction going to this style v-band setup? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kinugawa-Turbocharger-3-Anti-Surge-TD05H-16G-w-T3-8cm-V-Band-Internal-Gate-Hsg-/281161079416?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4176819a78 It looks very awkward for the waste gate gases to have to pass through.
  17. Its funny though because even the stock twins are quite laggy, doesn't make 14psi till almost 3,700rpm, my old r32 that had a highflow of the stock turbo made 21psi at around 4,300 or so if memory serves me correctly, and made over 230rwkw. if I could achieve similar with the 1G I would be happy.
  18. Cost wise it would end up been a lot more expensive getting the twins highflowed, I would guess around $1500+ to do both? That plus dump pipe fab, it'll end up costing about the same as going single. HKS made a 'highflow' version of the stock turbo's but they apparently are only good for low 200's, so not exactly a massive improvement over the stock ones.
  19. Because the stock twins are only good for 190rwkw max, even then I have only seen 1 car make that on the stock twins, most make 170-180. I would like 230rwkw or so, figured I would upgrade to something that would make that power pretty easily and have the potential to make alot more if I want to later down the track. No point chasing 270rwkw or more now as the stock motor wont handle that, and to be honest I would like to just get the best out of stockish motor.
  20. DBA = over priced. Just buy RDA, bout half the price, and quality is still very good.
  21. Thanks for the replies. I don't know what to do now . As I'm going to be fabricating the dump and manifold myself I guess I should go external gate then, I just don't want to go through the extra expense and hassle of it if at a lowish power level of say 220rwkw it makes no difference between IG and EG.
  22. Were there issues with the 16g and 18g with boost creep? Kinda annoying that they would sell a turbo you have to modify due to issues.
  23. Got the RPM in the end, haven't fitted it yet but it looks pretty decent. Honestly couldn't justify spending almost double on an exedy.
  24. Might be a bit more then I want to spend, trying to keep cost down a little as its not exactly going to produce big power.
