  1. The 1.5 will be fine on the street, I have driven with a 2 way as a daily and I didn't mind it, but I guess it depends on how much you can live with clunks and noises. If its 100% street then really anything that's an upgrade from the standard viscous will be better, if you do any drift/track then a proper clutch lsd is required.
  2. Thanks, I forgot about hypergear.
  3. Sorry should have mentioned it but I'm 95% on going internal gate. I have read the IG versions have had boost creep issues which is a bit of a worry.
  4. Hi all, Thought I'd ask the knowledgeable people on SAU this. I looking for a good turbo for a Toyota 2 litre straight six (1GGTE). Basically chasing 220rwkw + without excessive lag. I would just buy a 2530 but don't really trust second hand turbo's, especially when new ones are cheap. I have narrowed it down to the Kinugawa TD05 18G and the TD06 SL2 18G. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271264269898?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281156507798?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Basically I'm looking at turbo's that would normally be used on an RB20. What do you guys think?
  5. Still for sale? If so shoot me a PM.
  6. Hi all, I need a new HD clutch soon and have noticed that the Exedy ones are about $150-200 more then the RPM equivalent. Is it worth it to spend the extra on the Exedy or is there really no difference? I basically just need a clutch that can handle up to 230rwkw so hoping that either HD will be ok. Thanks.
  7. Does the black SAFC2 come with loom and everything needed?
  8. Looks like owning a skyline in vic is only going to get harder and harder with dumbcu*ts like this driving around. I bet Pettit is jizzing in his pants over this
  9. Fark me its expensive though, $230 entry for winton
  10. Not having a go but I just have to ask how is a n/a auto 34 (GTV or not) worth 14-16k? What p plater would pay that much? Just part it out, dont think you'll find anyone wanting to buy a potential write off plus shagged auto, just think of the headaches to get it fixed etc This is why VIC is shit as you dont have to have compulsory insurance, would avoid head f**ks like this.
  11. VG30 on a 20 is crap, dont do it. I did the swap on my hr31 and it was really laggy, to the point that normal daily driving was a pain in the ass. I changed back to the stock turbo I hated it so much. Go a highflow of the stock turbo, much better option, not alot of lag but alot of potential, my 32 had this and it made about 230rwkw and less lag then the vg did (tune would also help with that) Dont put a op6 rear housed turbo on a 20, worst thing you could do in terms of drivability, would only be good if you used it for a highflow and wanted 250rwkw +. Really any turbo bigger then stock is gonna suck unless you get a tune.
  12. Maybe he is selling 2 cars?

  16. Hi all, Im looking at buying a cheapish project soon. I've found something I like but its in SA. The car is currently registered there and it had its compliance done there also last year. Basically I just want to know if its just a matter of me getting a rwc here in Vic and then rego or if because its not an aussie delivered car if I will have issues with complaince related stuff. I have heard its pretty straight forwared buying an intersate car but thought I'd ask just incase. Cheers.
  17. I think if you reach your natural potential and gains start coming harder to get then really all you can do is maintain. Im only doing maintance workouts at the moment and I definently think its just as important to do those as it is doing heavier workouts. I know the type your talking about, I was one of them lol. I used to wonder why I wasn't gaining alot but then decided to listen to other and started eating alot more food. They will learn sooner or later, especially if there lifting wrong and they pull something.
  18. Lol. Its an interesting board for a school kid to troll.
