  1. Upgrading to slotted discs and better pads will make a big difference,. Slotted rotors are benificial on both on the street and track (more so on the track). If your going to do rotors you need to do pads though, stock pads are rubbish, Im using TRW at the moment and they are a massive upgrade from stock, I'm still on the stock rotors though. Theres no need to upgrade your calipers unless your doing alot of track work, the stock calipers are fine for 90% of people.
  2. So where did they find it? Hope they didn't damage anything.
  3. Pics would help alot
  4. If its rattling when the clutch is released its your gearbox not the release bearing. My old 31 box used to rattle at idle, had a buggered imput shaft bearing. A release bearing will make a noise when pressing in the clutch only.
  5. Pretty sure jap fuel is 100ron? Either way for the sake of a few bucks (its literrally like $2 a tank extra) I wouldn't bother with 95.
  6. I have pm'd. Its not for my car but my bro in law's, he said his mechanic thinks its the pump but I'll be checking the relay first. Thanks.
  7. Considering the runs are a minute or less thats pretty poor value for money.
  8. What only 4-7 runs the whole day? I hope your joking?
  9. Cool thanks. Had a look on the wrx club and they haven't listed anything yet.
  10. The best advice I can give to anyone buying a car no matter what it is is to stay the fark away from euro trash. I see the problems they have everyday and I wouldn't wish a vw/audi or any german car on my worst enemy. Stick with a Lexus or Toyota, cant go wrong.
  11. How much is it roughly?
  12. Looking for an ABS pump for a series 2 gtst. Thanks.
  13. Well actually I am a mechanic by trade and I've prob rebuilt more engines then you have seen. Your whole concept is flawed, that fact you think running lower comp on an n/a motor is better just shows you lack of knowledge on how to get power out of an engine. You dont see TRD or Spoon selling decomp pistons for n/a's. The higher the comp the bigger the bang = more power, low comp equals fail town for an n/a, the reason guys decomp to go turbo is for greater protection from detonation so they can run more boost. So stupid were you earlier comments I thought you were just f##king with the op, Maybe I should go and bash out my air flow meter and gain some killer wasps on my n/a.
  14. I hope to god your joking? So you wern't kidding about making the motor low comp?
  15. I bet this thing is still turbo. Can't see a converted n/a been quick at all.
  16. A rexy would be a good first turbo car, like most cars though its getting hard to find good ones.
  17. Looks good, all you can do is give it a go. Interesting how it weighs as much as it does though, I guess if it were to light it wouldn't be a good thing strength wise.
  18. Im not running a bov on my 33, no issues at all and no downsides. I have had no bov on all my cars, most if not all stock ones leak due to age. Im not sure why some guys are having issues with idle or decel without one, they might have there afm mounted in a non stock position? All the people that say that having no bov is bad and will cause turbo failures Im yet to see any fail from not having one. A mate at work is running a 3076r with no bov, stil going strong after 3 years of 21 psi and 290rwkw,.
  19. Fark yeah, this is exactly what vic needs.
  20. Where did you get defected?
