  3. hi guys, i'm starting fix the whole RB25det neo engines. do u know how to pull pulley from crankshaft? i alredy unbolt the big 24mm bolts. then i use wd-40, soak in hot water, and try to pry it off with pry bar. but still cant take it off. what should i do? sorry for the noob question. thanks
  4. wooooordss!! younger generations are getting spoiled by the law. in the other hands, their parent's lack of education also responsible for these hoon actions. i live in states for a decade, i'll tell u something their youngsters are well known for notorious and misbehavior. lucky for them cops working hard to draw the lines of justice. now, US becomes the biggest police states of the world (legal drinking age in all states are 21? wtf?? u cant even leave an opened bottle of beer inside the car even though ure not drunk). i dont wanna sacrifice lots of good people freedom for a couple of bad hoons stupid behaviour, but sometimes i agree that aussie cops REALLY need to draw a strict line even for misdemeanor offense. otherwise these kids will never learn something.

  6. more specs on T04E pls. what trim is the T04E? is it T04E-40 or T04E-60? T4 or T3 flange? if it's the T04E-60 & T4 flange with ball-bearing, i'll take it. cheers.
  7. umm, R32 R33 R34 GTR and R34 GTT use pull type. R32 & R33 GTs-T and the N/A skyline use the push type. CMIIW. i guess RB20 and RB25 have different diameter size. mannn, if u can do layby for the turbo, i'll prolly take it. since we're in the same town. lol.
  8. man i had the exactly same issues here. my RB25de Neo have some trouble with missfiring. because it sounds like a WRX. probably chilling winter in canberra? if u start the car in the morning (or when the engine is cold) it sounds ok for 5 minutes (because the car automatically retard the firing). after 5 mins the timing gets advanced to normal state, thats when the engine sounds like WRX. i'm opening my intake plenum now and will open the cover tomorrow to check and replace the spark plugs / coils / looms. or even injectors. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ne...49#entry4774549 if u'll bring it to local workshop, will u share the answers with me? cheers.

  10. i did oil & coolant levels, i even changed my oil every 5000 kilometers by myself. changing oil & fuel filter. but i never check coilpacks looms, sparks, injectors for 6 months (the 20k Km tune ups), because too many hassles to unbolt the whole intake setups. ok, what should i do next is: - open intake plenum systems - checking coilpack looms with multimeters - checking coilpacks (what to check?) - checking spark plugs ( how many 'mm gaps) - checking injectors (how?) thanks a lot.
  11. yea i was thinking of misfiring too, since i smell more unburned fuel in my exhaust. that means, i have to unbolt the intake plenums to gain access to coilpacks? i didnt do burnout, just doing 2 skidpans. revving until 7k for 5 sec. but never checked engine for almost 6 months. thanks a lot.

  13. hi my engine goes wrong but i dont know which part of it. its a RB25DE NEO (N/a). it was fine 2 days ago, then i tried to do skid-pan in a parking space at night. and here comes the trouble, suddenly the engine revs hard and stalling. i restart the engine and then the engines starts to shake hard, even if someone sit in the backseat he can still feel it. it shakes hard in every RPM, i thought it was the gearbox (clutch & flywheel & etc) but it was fine because i still can change the gear and use half-clutch as well. i'm starting to think abt engine problems (ignition or injectors): 1. the engine loses its normal accelerations and it breaths harder. 2. now my muffler sounds like a boxer engine (not a smooth inline 6 when revving = less exhaust gas) when accelerate. 3. Engine Dampeners seems fine and nothing's bend or tweaked. 4. no white smokes (no oil burnt = pistons fine, i guess) 5. i just changed fuel filter + FPR (fuel line should be fine) 6. timing belt is fine (no miss-timing cams etc) but i haven't check spark plugs, coilpacks & injectors (how to DIY check?) yet. what could be wrong? any inputs? or should i put video with my engine sounds like a WRX on it? thanks a lot.

  18. but the non-xenon R34 uses H1 bulbs and ppl just plug H1 xenon bulbs instead of D2R/D2S (both the same just lil' small reflector on the xenon gas inner bulbs) i know this since i'm doing retrofit to my R34 non-xenon headlights so it can use Lexus IS double projectors (which is D2S). R34 w/ dual hi-lo projectors + angel eyes + foglamp projectors = sweeet. lol cheers.
