hey mate, sounds like your experiencing what i experienced. what kind of pod r u using?? when i put a new pod my friend gave me (just thawt i'd try it) it really messed with the car, revs would rise and fall when at idle and when driving/boosting a little bit the engine would miss or seize between 4500rpm & 5500rpm, and also it was coffing out black smoke (which wasnt doing this before with my old pod) as soon as all these started to happen chucked on my old pod and away she went again, when i went to dodsons one of the mechs told me that some cheap arse pods jusnt arent compatible with that some engines it can just "f**k things up" he also said the black smoke could be from and mostly likely is from the "oil in the cheap shit filter" as i explained that it only ever did that when that pod was on

hi to all, i am a new user to this site (as i found it very helpful) and not very sure how these things work but i need help and i know you guys know more then me as i practicaly dont know much...(jus a student at high skool, i do take automotive but still doesnt mean i remember and know things....) anyway, i have recently bought a 94 skyline rb25det (sadly automatic but i can change that later) and i have a few problems. i have experienced the same problems as some with the engine almost like stoping at a certain revs (4500-5500) but that has stoped as soon as i changed pod filters. but the main problem i am here to ask is that my car wit cut out/turn off after a boost even just a little bit when i brake to a stop....(really annoying) and sometimes i dont even need to brake, il be driving at 20ks then step on the gas a bit, and if i let go the revs will drop down to 500rpm and sometimes drop below and then the engine will cut out.... as soon as the car cuts out i just chuck it in 2 neutral and start the car (always starts) any ideas to the problem and the solution?? cheers
