as the title says, how do i tell if my R32 GTR is a v-spec or m-spec ? i would of assumed the VIN would tell so but seems not.. all ive been told is the V-spec had brembo brakes a different ALTESSA system and different tyres... soo whats stopping anyone from just mocking up a M-spec as a "GENUINE" Vspec.... ? surely there has to be a way to tell if your GTR is a GENUINE V-spec or not.. anyone know how ? cheers

so there isnt any way to tell IF its a GENUINE V-SPEC or not ?? anyone can just chuck a set of brembo brakes and certain size tyres onto a GTR and call is a v-spec then ???? so whats the point of a v-spec or m-spec when you can make a mock up version and sell it as a 'genuine' v-spec ???

ok im still confused it doesnt tell me if its a V-SPEC or not??? it just says gt-r ??? WHAT info do you need off this 'blue plate' ?? are you talking about the blue plate on the firewall ?? cheers

im assuming a reverse flush refers to flushing the heater core in the reverse flow of that of normal operation... so, how do i exactly flush it? is there a certain heater hose i should disconnect ? and which way to flush a hose down there ?? cheers

yep found it. dash is out and will hopefully have it out tomorrow.. Gotta ring round monday try find one from a wreckers.. cheers

hey folks i read that Greddy have discontinued making the dual pillar gauge mount for r32 skylines. Does anyone know anywhere selling them ? i did purchase a carbon fiber job off ebay but have returned it for refund due to it being damaged in transit. idearly i just want a plain black plastic one. if anyone knows where to get one please let me know or if anyone has used a different aftermarket dual gauge mount let me know which one. cheers

bump - no-one ever had a buggered heater core in an r32 gtr ??? my heater is leaving condensation all on my windscreen i rekon its stuffed, barely blows hot air too.. anyone know rough price on a heater core ? and where its located ?? cheers

g'day im after the centre console part of the dash for an R32 GTR 5SPD MANUAL. - the part that houses the radio, A/C and the 3 tripple gauges. The cigarette lighter and ashtray are also housed in this. It must be to suit a manual tranny aswell. looking for one in excellent condition with NO scratches or snapped mounts etc if someone has one laying around let me know im keen to buy it send me a PM and give me a price cheers

G'day folks im assuming the heater core is stuffed in my r32 gtr as its leaving condensation on my windscreen and barely blowing any hot air.. does r32 gtr's have heater core's ? and where are they mounted ? or do they have somthing else all togeather ? can someone confirm from the above symptoms exactly what is wrong with the heater ? im lead to assume the heater core is buggered.. the A/C has been ripped out allready. i know in shitbox commodores its mounted in behind the dash and is a prick of a thing to replace... any help and/or advice appreciated cheers

hey folks at what temps does the thermofan switch turn the thermo's on ? and what temp does it turn off again ? i need a new thermoswitch and looking at the TRIDON ones theres one to suit at 95degrees on and 85degrees off.. is that anywhere in the ball park of the stock OEM thermoswtich ? cheers

hey folks ive just heard about NISSAN FAST the program and that its no longer available to download from anywhere as far as i can tell.. does anyone have this able to send it to me ? or know of where i can download it ? from what i read its 2.2gb so fairly big really need to get on there to source out some codes for bits n peices that i need any info is appreciated cheers

hey folks im chasing them little black rubber stops for both under the bonnet and the boot - the little rubber stops that sits the bonnet nicely level and in place, same thing but different design for the boot. if anyone knows where i can buy there let me know it'd be muchly appreciated.. also looking to buy them little plastic screw's that hold all the garnishing down in the boot. cheers

hello i am after the radio surround trim part of the console, the part that the ashtray and cigarette lighter fit into. i need one to suit a r32 gtr 5spd manual so needs to be a manual surround.. i cant seem to work out how the hell to use or get this NISSAN FAST program working.. else id find the PART NUMBER/CODE for it and id try purchase a new one from nissan does anyone know how to use FAST and/or can find me the part number ? incase your not clear about what im talking about, im after the plastic trim that goes around the radio and centre gauges, it houses the ashtray and the cigarette lighter.. if anyone has one or can steer me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated - preferably id rather buy a new one from nissan if it's possible to even get a brand new one. cheers

As said previously, when coolant temps reach 95degrees at what temps does the thermo fans switch off on an r32 gtr ?? i am considering buying a 'TRIDON' thermo fan sensor switch.. http://www.toymods.o...-catalogue.html that shows the whole catalogue.. thinking of buying somthing M16 X 1.5mm AND on at 95degrees and off at 85degrees ? or should i have it turn off when its cooler ?? let me know asap good folks cheers

as Ronin said - i am also after a new thermo switch sensor and the thread on mine is buggered.. if i could work out how to get nissan FAST working id search through it and find the part number etc for the item let me know cheers

my gtr will only be used on strret, brand new M76544 tomei turbos, tomei cams tomei manfifolds hoping to achieve 500hp.. how necessary is it to use the A/C fan if intalling an aftermarket radiator and running the stock clutch fan ? as ive ripped out the whole a/c SYSTEM including the a/c fan.. as i followed a thread on GTROC.co.uk it said to remove the fan aswell... any ideas folks ? is it important to run a thermo fan aswell as the clutch fan ? even tho the aftermarket radiator is bigger holds more coolant and ill only ever be giving it abit of a squirt round the streets, not full on racing it.. let me know your opinions and thoughts on this.. Else i need to get a new thermoswitch sensor, find out exactly what size it is and what type of thread, buy a tap and re-tap another thread into the radiator. easily done but would rather avoid the hassle of buying a bloody $40 tap to suit the size thread/hole.. cheers
