hey, i need to get a new dash for my R32, had guages mounted in dash, and i want them gone. i was wondering if there was any structural difference between the GTS dash and the GTR dash ?? i only thought they were different colors, im just double checking... The dash thats in the GTR is painted bayside blue, and i plan on getting the new one painted. Thats why i dont care about the color difference. thanks

g'day, i was thinking about buying a set of thease for my r32 gtr. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Garrett-GT2...sQ5fAccessories my current turbos are gt2530 from what i was told by the car dealer i purchased the car off (very dodgy bloke/..) i want to get the block bored to around 2.8L or even 3L, does anyone know if it could go that far ? the only reason i want to bore the block is because the turbos will lag like mad rite ? thease are the biggest twin turbo setup i can find.. i basically want to achieve around 600kw for my track car.. if anyone has had any experiance with thease turbos, or anyone that has a better opinion on what should do would be much appreciated.

was looking for a new exhaust for my r32 gtr. was looking at this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT I plan on getting huge turbos (yet to decide what) but i know ill need a decent exhaust. can anyone tell me or show me of a good exhaust ? Im after somthing that i might actually gain some performance from, not just some knock off look-a-like. thanks <-- haha a dancing banana, Classic!

hey people. theres a few strange noises my gtr is making and i need to take it to a trusted mechanics. Ill try and explain one of the noises. sounds like the diff is jerking foward and backward, makes a nasty clunk noise when i tap the throttle. One mechanic said the rear outer control arm bushes are flogged out. Another mechanic told me it doesnt have rear control arms, it has some other setup. And that one of the Links that connects the suspention and holds the diff in place is flogged out. He said that the HICAS steerinb has been disabled. Does this make any sence whatso ever to anyone ? If anyone has a slight idea let me know, just so i have a bit better of an idea whats exactly wrong ? This is why im after a GOOD jap import mechanic.. Im in Frankston area. Can anyone recomend a good jap import mechanic ? The car needs to get there asap so if anyone can recomend a good good jap import mechanic let me know.. thanks!!

hey, i soon plan on getting a bit of work done to my gtr including a respray. just wondering where i can get onto brand new metal seals for the front/rear windows ?

ey folks my steering rack on the gtr has gone, maybe popped a seal or somthing. Im going to have to get the car towed from my mates house to the mechanics, so could anyone advise me on a good reputable mechanic close to the frankston area ?? let me know asap as im going to have to get it towed tomorrow., thanks

hey the power steering for some reason has gone shot yesterday. i am just wondering where the power steering res is ? i cant seem to find it anywhere in the engine bay. thanks

hey i read somewhere on the internet that if you can hear a chattering/clickering noise before the turbos are spooling, that that noise is caused by compresor surge ? what exactly needs to be done to fix the noise im hearing ? the noise sounds like its coming from behind the passengers side of the dash board thanks

ive just got my r32 gtr, and the front/rear window metal seal is fairly old and faded, and even in 1 corner of the window the metal seal has popped out. So, im just wondering where i can get a new metal seal from ? for the front & rear windows. thanks

hey i was thinking about buying this off ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...RTQ:MOTORS:1123 obviously that setup the throttle body bolts straight to the plenum. i havnt recieved my r32 gtr from brisbane yet, so all i have is pictures. And in the pictures of my car theirs only a silicone hose connected to the plenum. where is the throttle body connected on my gtr ? i cant even see the throttle cable from the pictures i have.. cheers

hey, the rear badge on my GTR is a little faded compared to a couple i got for free sitting here.. does anyone know of an easy way to remove the badge without damaging the paint ? cheers

hey folks, im after a set of polished induction pipes, the only set of stainless ones i can find are cheap looking chinease ones on ebay im chasing a set that say 'twin turbo' like the stock pipes. if anyone could point me somewhere it would be a great help, thanks

first car i was done in w/no p-plates was a vn wagon, 5spd manual - stolen off me that same night i got the fine. Which was also the same night i just bought a set of vt s-pack rims for it. And to top it off i only bought the car 2 weeks prior to all this.. i havnt had the best run with cars and my licence this year.. but i still know people in worse situations.. the whole reason, as i planned, was to loose my licence for 3 months, get all my points back, so when i got my GTR if i got pinched id only loose 3 points the first time, and cop the fine. and still have 2 point up my sleeve. I only plan on using the GTR as a weekend car anywho. And yes i will have the green p's up in the r32, else ill lose 6 point when i get pulled over

while still kind of on the topic. whats the fines/demerit points lost for a green p-plater driving a car w/forced induction ?

madbung - no it goes lose my licence for 3 months, regain all my points. or keep it for 12 months, lose a point and its gone for 6 months. so in that perspective im looking an an extra 6 ontop of my 3. or at a minimum of 3 months ontop ++ fines. Obviously i have farked up folks. both times i got the no p plate fines was once in the first week of getting my licence. and the 2nd time was when i just brought my vt from a car dealers., drove home without putting up the p plates. i know ive messed up and yes, do the crime pay the time.. i cant even look at my car now im too scared to drive around.. now for everyone whos flaming me, you can all give me a bit more for this.. i just payed $26,000 for a r32 gtr v-spec from NSW. havnt even recieved the car and my licence is gone. so ill be paying off my loan over the next year and i wont even be able to drive it.. does everyone still think i dont realise ive f***ed up ?? i honestly dont speed, thus no speeding fines. So its not like im a hoon. so the judge has to take that into regard ?
