  1. Sure thing, $1300 for the lot. Excuse the dirtyness. Edit: Location is Brisbane First pic of what they look like on the car: Front right rim: Front left rim:
  2. Hi, will be getting aftermarket rims soon and was wondering if there was any interest in this maybe a month or less from now.. 7 spoke V35 OEM 18" shadow chrome rims with bad gutter rash - will need to be resprayed 18 x 8", +30mm offset on each Yokohama V550 tyres - 225/40/18 front and 245/40/18 rear Fronts were bought a few months ago ($400 per corner) and rears still have at least 6mm left on tread. what kind of interest is there?
  3. Try any of the guys at Detail Paradise: http://detailparadise.com.au/modules.php?o...ayreg&rg=15 Most here would recommend Dr.Detail from that site. You can also check out the cleaning jobs they've done on all sorts of cars in that forum with lotsa photo's.
  4. My 18" have also bad gutter rash from japan because of this. so we all agree if i go 19 x 9, i'll try to get the 245/35 front and 275/35 back?
  5. Ah yes i see now, ride height goes up - i was calculating difference in sidewall height instead of diameter. If i get 19 x 9"-10" rims, i'll definately be getting 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 tyres if i can.
  6. The guys on the G35 forums are saying the closest to stock is 245/35/19f and 275/35/19r but not on OEM 19" rims, only on rims that are at least 9".... That's why i was wondering if i went from 225/40/18 (my current incorrect tyre) at the front, and wanted to get a 19" wheel+rim, then apparently the correct is 245/35/19f and 275/35/19r, and my question was - this actually lowers the ride height?
  7. Ok, been looking around. If i decide to go from 225/40/18f to 245/35/19f, then i actually lower the ride height by about 40mm? Is that right?
  8. What is the correct size for rims + tyres for 19" on the Coupe?
  9. That is a crying shame...
  10. I need someone who can take mine completely apart and clean the inside of the lens...
  11. Ok just PM me with some pics when you're ready. I'm waiting on other people scouting offers for me as well.
  12. Thanks for the info lads. Danny - i meant i just replaced my 2 fronts for $400 each for 225/40/18. yoko's arent cheap are they Looks like i've be getting a whole new wheel+rim package. Shame.
  13. What tyres you using?
  14. That would be good....but im stuck with what i got now, yokohama's arent cheap being $400 per tyre.
  15. He charged me $350 for about 6 hours work, no inside work. I told him he was recommended by Dr.Detail who did someones black v35 for $350 inside and out, and he said he cant do that. He said he would have to charge more if he did more work on the outside so i just got $350 worth. If you've got a silver car, i wouldnt recommend it or try someone else who is a bit cheaper.
  16. Looks good matt, whats the brand/model? Also did you find going from 30 to 45 closed the gap in the arches and made a difference to ride height?
  17. Will it REALLY make that much of a difference?
  18. I think the profile is fine...running 225/40/18 on front and 245/40/18 on back. Just the front lip always barely scrapes over the cement blocks by 1mm, literally. There's a picture of my car under the detailing posts but doesnt show too well the right height i think. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/V3...ed-t274285.html
  19. I've got a coupe but i dont like the gap - i guess i'll stick with 18s though and see how it turns out... thanks for the info rs73, i guess i wont be trying to stretch them then. I'll stick with my yokohama's on 18s, new rims will still look 10 times better...i like your ride height and your rims look nice.
  20. Im in the market for some new rims...at the moment i have stock 18s on and what i know is: If i want another set of 18s without hassles, i need the rim to be 18 x 8, 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern, with offsets of +30mm. But what if i want 19s to fill the gap in my arches a bit? What size rim do i need without having to get into buying spacers and doing coilovers and all that rubbish that costs extra? Can my current yokohama tyres that i bought recently be stretched over a 19 inch rim without too many problems? I dont want to lower the car any more (which isnt much at all) because it barely gets over those cement parking blocks around brisbane and at work.
  21. ooh, do tell me how much you end up buying them for...
  22. Very nice, clean car. Black looks fantastic as usual.
  23. thanks matt! received and just put them on, looks greaT!
  24. I'm very interested to hear the outcome as i have had a detailer come and buff mine out with an electric buffer with no success. Mine seem to have gone through to the inside so there's really no helping me i think. The only thing i can think of is to take it off and clean the inside but i really dont want to go through the process...
  25. well you dont get that kinda value for money in brisbane... costs more than $350 for inside and out here.
