  1. thanks bro, will do first thing saturday morning. hopefully theyre open
  2. I installed an autogauge water temp gauge today and came across a problem. The rb20det in an s13 engine bay takes up a lot of space, therefore i can't use the water temp adapter on the top radiator hose as it fouls on the water outlet and radiator inlet (im using an aluminium rad so its chunkier). The only real other option other than tapping a new thread into the water outlet pipe is to find a sensor that will fit into the stock water temp sensor (my sensor is 1/8", the factory sensor is 12mm) that is also compatible with the new gauge (same ohms as the autogauge sensor). My question is this: - Does anyone know where i can buy a sensor that is compatible with the gauge but have the same thread pitch as the stock sensor? - Does anyone know where i can buy thread adapters that merge 12mm to 1/8"? - Does anyone else have any ideas of how else i can mount the temp sensor other than drilling/tapping into my outlet/radiator? Im in the northern suburbs of melbourne, sorry for the long essay but ive been awake 30+ hours and this sh*t is pissing me off Thanks a bunch dudes, Khoa

  6. a mate said it could be my spigot bearing? can anyone else confirm this? any help is appreciated, cheers.
  7. theres a buzzing/grinding noise coming from somewhere under the car everytime i cruise at EXACTLY 1600 rpm. as the revs climb and it hits 1600rpm, the buzzing begins but as soon as the revs increase past 1600rpm, the buzz goes away. i thought it was clutch related but ive just changed the clutch today and serviced the car but the buzz is still there. i cant pinpoint the exact location of the buzzing but its around the gearbox/rear engine area. anyone have a clue what it could be? (i dont think its the synchros as the gear changes are smooth) any help is appreciated, thanks guys. khoa
  8. the car has been recovered, it was stripped of some valuable items such as a deep corn nardi and others. if only there were a way to catch the pricks, the western suburbs is becoming a joke
  9. for the backyarders, how do you go about cutting up the metal and getting/measuring the exact degree increments for each cut? using an angle grinder would be a pain in the ass, so do you use a metal cutting drop saw?
  10. negotiable on price, all offers considered except major low ball offers. and yes, i may consider swaps with r32's with cash your way obviously. cheers gentlemen
  11. for sale is my adm ae86, heres the basic run down car currently has no engine in it, however i have a 20v silvertop 4age with loom that will be included in the sale. body is straight, with no rust. front shocks are missing as i parted them out to a mate to slap on his ke70. body is sanded down, ready for primer and paint. the car comes with JDM grille, 2 bucket seats, a GT wing which isnt mounted yet, exhaust, spare front and passenger seats and original stock wheels. besides cracks in the dash, the interior and roof lining is absolutely immaculate. will take swaps with a turbo manual silvia, with cash your way. only reason why im selling is because i work full time and have hardly any time to build her up myself. if there are no takers then ill keep her and build her up slowly asking price is $5500 ONO, not in any rush to sell. inspections more than welcome. please excuse the pics, i took them when i first received the car and the previous owner didnt bother to attach the lights and little things back on. 0421152048 if i dont pick up send me a txt and ill reply asap cheers peter
