Can source cheap pads for S2 stagea now, I paid $44 - Cant remember p/n thou! Just machine disc's at same time if over minimum thickness. Still could be wheel bearing but hope not. P.s. Hows things going in SA for you both?

Idle motor sits close to fuel filter on 45' angle and easily accessed on greddy manifold. Cold start motor remains in same position under manifold on coolant hoses. Any more help Hugh, PM me - doing one on R32 RB25 ATM. p.s. Did you support your coolant lines with brackets?

Plastic bars can be repaired or modified - I removed no. plate surround and centre section and repaired a few cracks on mine. Soldering iron to melt and weld, bit of fibreglass to support from rear and bog top, heat gun works well if modifying.

My prefect stagea engine would include RB25 NEO 4WD block, sleeved with open deck spacer and RB30 crank - similar to os giken 3L. But my RS4s is happy ATM with fmic, pod, zorst, PFC, 11psi and a lazy 206awhp.

Who done the test? Was it at operating temp with throttle wide open, all spark plugs removed and even cranks (6-7) on all cylinders. I would double check readings and also oil cylinders to see if readings change. If compression comes back up with oil in cylinders = posibly rings - If no change on readings = posibly ring lands, holed piston or headgasket blown between cylinders..

Early Volk Jap wheels had small (approx 5/100) bolt pattern + big positive offset and then spacers/adaptors to suit different vehicle bolt pattern's. Seen a staggered set of subaru wheels like this and personally replaced a set on a supra.
