Not a skeptic, just curious! Ever tested the voltage of your coolant? another good thing to earth is your rad!

Just out of curiousity, did you disconnect neg/earth terminal off battery when fitting earth kit? Ever thought you just reset ecu, which will affect shift times(adaptive learning). We used to get vehicle's back after service and update ecu, complaining of chirping wheels!!!

Check the abs relay (attached to abs actuator), had similar probelm on my S14, not 4wd but no power to abs module! swapped relay, all good and nissan tech said very common!
