R33 Gtr Stock (standard) Exhaust And Cat
NISMØ replied to moonus's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Would you sell the exhaust for $200 all up (including courier), I live in Port Macquarie 2444 , 5 hours-ish north of Sydney. -
Hey guys, fair chance i am getting a 33 soon, one bad point is the fuel gauge doesnt work. The seller tells me it just stays at full, and when its nearly empty it begins to drop. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this? Would it mean sourcing a new sender or could it be electrical. Cheers guys

haha thanks guys

Copy pasta from 31club, hopefully it works lol THIS IS AN EOI, I NEED MONEY, IF IT DOESNT GO FOR WHAT I WANT, I PROBABLY WILL KEEP IT Make/Model: Nissan Skyline R31 GXE Year: 1986 Kilometers: 162k Transmission type: 5 Speed Manual Engine: RB30E Colour: White and Black Modifications: Suspension, rims, extractors, exhaust, rear lights, s2 spoiler etc etc see pics Roadworthy Certificate: No (its from NSW) Registered: Yes until January 2012 Accident History: No Asking Price: $3500 Location: Port Macquarie, NSW , 2444 Contact Details: PM me here, i check every day, or TXT 0421046958 Other Comments: Check below! Hey guys, I need money, so the 31 has to go. I bought it pretty much stock besides some gay chromies (that come with the car if sold for the right price). Since buying it, I have done: - Aurora Group Buy springs (pretty sure its 50mm lowered all round) - Bilstein Shocks (fronts not installed, they need the other gland nut which is $45 from cazz.... the fronts have monroes atm) - Whiteline Adjustable panhard rod - 15x8" Sportsmax XXR 002 Rims. Zero Offset, 195/55/15 tyres with good amount of tread left - New diff (around july/august last year, might still have the receipts ill check it out) - S3 rear garnish & hotplate tailights - S2 silo rear spoiler - Extractors - 2.5" exhaust, one muffler, twin "drift" tips at the rear. (sounds great, no rasp whatsoever) - S1 Passage GT Front Grill - D1 Oil Catch Can - Black Just Jap Bucket seats in good condition - R33 Nismo Clear Indicators - Resprayed roof (the paint on it was shit when I got it) - Rolled guards (done properly, no damage at all to paint) - Home made front lip - Painted waistband - Nardi steering wheel Thats all I can think of at the moment, there is probs some other stuff. Bad points: The paint is in good condition in most places, however the lower white lip has some bad stonechipping from years of driving. The passenger rear door has some dings in, dont know how they got there, they were like that when I got the car. The interior was sprayed black by previous owner and is a bit faded in some places (mostly the door plastics) Other then that, its in very good condition, the gearbox is perfect and the motor is perfect condition, starts first time everytime. I have replaced the oxygen sensor, cleaned the water temp sensor, and I also have a spare, near new dizzy/ CAS to go with the car (I got one incase the CAS ever died but it seems to be in good condition). The car was tuned about september last year, it made 101rwkw / 280nm for memory, and its good on fuel. If the car gos for asking price I will include: 18x7.5 Gestalt Virouge GV2 Rims with very good tyres (90%+ tread left on them) Black and Blue clapped out bucket seats Custom Cold Air Intake, with Pod and Box. PICTURES (sorry, when I took these the car was pretty dirty):

I find gaming laptops silly, but thats just me, and I am sure someone will flame me down for it. If I had that money, ide build a crazy desktop, and with the remaining money (which you could have plenty of unless you go absolutely overkill), ide then buy a cheap, yet decent laptop.

No, I expected a better experience when modifying the cars. And as for the sound system, I am very well covered in that department, the display doesnt really affect the true sound of the engine sounds in game, almost all cars sound incorrect. I find the engine/exhaust sounds of the Forza series to be alot more realistic.
-
Agreed. Wotlk and Cata are so boring and unoriginal
-
I totally agree. I bought a ps3 when GT5 came out. I was expecting so much considering they spent agessss making it. What did I get? The game was pretty much copy paste from GT4 MINUS some stuff. The tracks are all 2d (as in the trees and such on the outside). The only innovation was the cockpit view. GT5 is boring, all you do is buy a car, install modification 'packages' which offer little to no control, then you drive your car around the same old tracks, in the same way you did in the previous installment. Very unhappy with it. edit: Not to mention 9/10 cars dont sound like they should, prime example: Classic US muscle cars sounding like honda civics I KID YOU NOT.

hahaha lemme guess "how do I remove my turbo, so I can drive it on my p's?" Retards.
-
Those rims are XXR 002's. 15x8 +0 offset. PERFECT streetable fitment for a 31, you could go a little lower offset if you wanted but they are pretty bang on flush. Here is some more pics of it I took a few weeks ago:

First attempt at some nightscapes. Deliberately used a large aperture to try and avoid 'star trails' as I was going for 'as if you were there' kind of look.

Rb30 In A Patrol Running Rich And Running Rough
NISMØ replied to R33gtstsedan's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Hey buddy, I am really tired so I didnt read the entire of youre post or the replies so far but it seem as if you have gone through and checked most of the extremely common engine problems that cause the issues you are having. I would also advise you to unplug your temp sensor and clean it (mine had gunk on the contacts and made it idle like shit). ' Join the R31 skyline forums, they have more info/ gurus on RB30's then on SAU, I am sure someone knows what else could be the problem -
Why dont you just ghetto-fit a powerdrill to one of the belt drives, they sound like gilmer drives right??
-
I swear to god this exact same question has been asked literally 100 times, why do people not use the search bar? Here is a few threads that will tell you the same thing, terrible exhaust + twin cam N/A Rb engine (any of them) = rasp. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/261047-funny-sound-coming-out-of-the-exhaust/page__p__4477941__hl__exhaust+rasp__fromsearch__1#entry4477941 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/258232-exhaust-clicking-noise/page__p__4452430__hl__exhaust+rasp__fromsearch__1#entry4452430 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/246469-problems-with-exhaust-sound-r33-gts4/page__p__4294911__hl__exhaust+rasp__fromsearch__1#entry4294911 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/197985-rasp/page__p__3552659__hl__exhaust+rasp__fromsearch__1#entry3552659 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/304891-new-exhaust/page__hl__exhaust http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/313221-buzzing-noise/page__p__5146577__hl__exhaust__fromsearch__1#entry5146577

NISMØ replied to G0DZLR's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Sorry to revive a dead thread, I was extremely interested in the Hasemi lip. http://www.hasemi-ms.com/products/r33gtse/index.php You can buy it from here it seems, just incase anyone reading wanted info on it. I know when I get my 33 when I am off my p's, I will certainly be getting it, very very unique. -

Na Power Results - All N/a Engines
NISMØ replied to beersandwich's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
177rwkw impossible. Sorry. -
The way I see it, one should not expect much from a n/a 30e. The best thing about them is that they are pretty indestructible in relatively stock form. LSD/ locker+ decent suspension+ 30e with exhaust and ignition w/ good fuel = very good budget track / drift / streeter.

Got about 10 days left on my gametime, bought cata, go to 85, got bored and made a goblin... I must say, with every new expansion WoW just gets that much less interesting, it becomes very repetitive and linear. I found classic wow and BC very fun, probably because it was original, and BC was something new, but since WotLK and Cata, I havn't been having alot of fun anymore, killing off old quests and replacing them with new ones really ruined my leveling experience on lower level characters. I had many many gametimes in classic and BC, however I have had one in Wotlk and at this rate, in 10 days time I will be quitting again, waiting for the next expansion. Bring back a degree of difficulty and closer scaling between levels, and I am sure people would much more enjoy the game, rather then levelling 10 levels a day with ease and getting top notch gear with minimal effort, takes the fun out of any game. my 2c

I own a 31 with a rb30e... been down a similar path when I first got the car. Luckily enough, some locals from the 31 club talked some sense into me. Bottom line is, for the money, is it worth it? No... do not do it. The best you can do for your 30e without going turbo / opening up the motor is this: extractors, 2.5" exhaust +20 ignition timing and use premium fuel. Leave the engine at that, it is seriously the biggest waste of time doing anything else, waste of not only time but money, it is simply not cost effective and you will be dissapointed. Even opening up the engine and working the n/a 30e is a waste of time that yields nothing special. Exhaust + premium + ignition advance is the best thing you can do for your car, and yes, it does have noticable gains, more noticable then any ECU / chip will show you.

Hey guys, bens friend here, Cars got coilovers in it, and will be seeing how low I can go once I ge the wheels on, I was just worried bout them sticking out to far. Ill be giving it a shot if I get the wheels for the price arranged. Very nice Luke, thats very close to the specs of this set im looking at. Do you have any pictures anywhere of your fitment? Judging by your profile picture it looks pretty tough.
