Hey guys, asking for a friend who has no internet. He has an r33 gtst and has a chance to buy some 17x9 0 offset SSR wheels cheap and was wondering if anyone had fitted wheels this wide with this offset or close to it on a 33 gtst before. We did a quick search and found nothing close to what he wants to do. The wheels are in japan so he cant trial fit them. Cheers

Even if yours is an old R30, you still won't get decent power or torque (which is probably more important anyway) without spending an absolute fortune. Use your money on better things other then the engine. No if's or but's about it. If you want power without spending ALOT of money, your only option is Nos. If this isn't a good enough answer, look at the other 10000 topics that people have made asking the same question. Use the search bar.

I am really tired and cbf reading it all but on R31's this exact problem is extremely common and it is almost always the CAS.

Yeah bunnings / any place that sells White Knight cans should have it. I got mine from Bunnings.

If you really like your car I reckon spend all the 6000 on decent coilovers, nolathane products everywhere, better swaybards / adjustable panhard rod (not sure if you need one but I know my 31 did when I went lower), decent LSD, lightweight flywheel. You would still have some left over too to spend on other stuff. If you got all your suspension and handlin shit worked out , when ur off your p's just do an engine transplant then or na+t your current engien, that way you would already have the awesome gear under the car.

I used White Knight Self Priming Pot Belly Black paint, Ive used it for my grill, rear garnish, side & front waistband moulds, extractors, rockercover, all interior plastics. This shit goes on so well, is impossible to make it all runny and is so hard to get off, the waistband moulds on the car have been top condition for about 6 months now! 1 can is liek $20 and lasts forever, beats paying for a pro job when you can do this and I gurantee it wont fail you, best spray can paint ever.

Tried lowering your flash exposure comp on your camera? I put mine on -2 to avoid the exact thing youre talking about when taking pictures.

If it has an rb20de conversion then it is illegal. R33's only came with Rb20e and Rb25de motors in the non turbo models, therefore your car is technically illegal for you to drive. So this voids your insurance, and if you get pulled up you are going to get done for driving a car with an engine out of a different model car. If it had an rb20e or rb25de then it would be legal to drive as those engines came out in the r33 originally. Also use the search bar you dumbarse, there is literally hundreds of threads on this topic because you idiots never search. For you, short answer is... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN N/A SKYLINE, YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT ANY FASTER WITHOUT SPENDING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, END OF DISCUSSION. There is NO exceptions, your N/A will never ever be fast. The fastest / most powerful N/A skyline in Aus as far as I know is a 150rwkw r31 with an rb26/30de motor which has had copious amounts of money spent on it, and even then, a stock 5 speed 3.5L magna is faster then it.

Payed Half and Half with Parents for my first car... an R31 haha. Still $1250 out of my pocket. Only doing Third Party Fire and Theft, I pay for that. Full blown $1000+ car insurance I cannot justify getting on an R31 thats worth less then what Ide pay a year in insurance.

I have an exemption which i will gladly pass onto the new buyer. (Dont ask me 101 questions about the exemption and how you can get it for another car, because this is unique to this particular car!) Then don't provide false information. You cannot pass on an exemption.

Get an R31, they are cheap and reliable.

Above post is correct only the c211 2000gt-ex had the l20et, and that is definitely not an l20et. There is no turbocharger on that motor as far as the I can see. I see a carby... the turbo motors had EFI as far as I know, feel free to prove me wrong and take a picture from a different angle of the exhaust manifold. Not meaning to intrude, I would just rather people not be ripped off.
