The cheapest turbo that will 'work' without failure is probly a KKR or a High-Flow, dont be fooled into buying one of those cheap T04E/T70 turbo's of ebay / other sale points as they are almost always very dodgy. If your on a budget you could try and find a Second hand Garrett or get a KKR Turbo (only get genuine KKR from otomoto) not the ebay KKR as they are fake. XR6 Turbo Specced Garrett Turbo's are pretty cheap and would be nice for the VQ35 imo with the 1.06 (i think it is 1.06) would come on pretty early in a properly tuned VQ35. Exhaust manifolds , CAI etc would probly have to be custom made or bought new.

Ill try now Twoogle!

For Sale: 1994 R33 Gts25 Type-s (non-turbo)
NISMØ replied to Eug's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
mate if this car was for sale later on in the year (november) I would seriously consider buying it mostly stock except for the Type M Bodykit which I like, pitty Its only January >< nice car tho it shouldnt be to hard to sell. -
Yeh I would have to eventually upgrade brakes and a 5stud conversion would minimise stress. I plan on Volk GT-C, Speedy Cheetahs or Starcorp Racing Fusions (19") with factory Type M bodykit and clear indicators. I dont really like ricer bodykits.
-
Yeh 26/30 would be awesome and I would do it if i have the money to. ITB's, Solid Lifters (i think they have em, cant remember fully) would be awesome.
-
Lol , youve all destroyed my hopes (nah jokes) , I didnt explain the process of the car very well but I have another idea. The Non Turbo GTS is P-Plate legal and ive actually been thinking about buying one of those instead as I have heard they arnt too fast. Ide just have a Stock One, with a 5 stud conversion and a quiet exhaust and in the mean time save up for an RB25/30DET Hybrid which will be built as a seperate engine and will go in when I have my full licence. Ide drive the car through conservative power stages like havign the boost low and gradually upping it so I get used to the power. I think thats a better Idea cuz the car will be legal on P's and I will save alot more money. If you guys hadn't of flamed me I probly would lost alot of money doing it in my 'stages'. Thx to all cuz uve made me realise ill save money doing it way later down the track.
-
Piggaz its abit slack to think of every young kid as a hoon but I see where your coming from oh and Nytsky i read your engine build thread and your info Is good cuz your right I probly will save alot of money, Ill just have to wait and see how things turn out =)
-
Lol the stages in my 1st post explain what ill have on m P's and that just like exhaust, BoV, cooler and not very noticeable stuff. I know I probly wont get the exemption but I got plans if I dont. Ill atleast try lol but your probly right.
-
Yeh I know it sucks balls so im gonna apply for exemption with as many reason as possible if failed ill swap car with Parents while I save money =) or I could be a daredevil and drive it on P's but itd suck to get caught I think i posted in wrong section so any of u mod guys can move it if it is in wrong place =) Yeh im pretty bored on days when im not working
-
Yeh it'll cost a fair bit of money but its gonna be spread over a few years, not all at once lol.
-
Omg nice dude, this is so very similar to what I have planned for when I have my R33 which im gonna buy intime for my BDay in November. If I had the money ide so buy this right now, really good value.

In November I will be old enough to drive and I will be purchasing my 1st Car an R33 GTS-T Series 1 Type M in Black. Although ive only had the game since christmas and I havnt been playing it much cuz ive been watching all 6 season of 24 (im into 4th now) Im 72% complete with a decked out R34 GTR. The game is pretty easy, cant wait to get R35 GTR and I hope it doesnt sound like shit. My skyline full decked sounds like a Supra in real life, but I got all my performance mods towards High RPM Boost and Horsepower so just before the redline the turbo kicks in and its so fun lol. Nice Signature Bakes btw, I saw your car at Final Battle. You should put an Intercooler and Exhaust into your Pixelcar, would make it look awesome >< I just got into pixelcars and my 1st attempt is the one in my signature , i gotta recolour it to Black and make a GTST front bumper and its done, and mayb some good rims too.

MR XTC Ive have been working 2 jobs since september 2008 and although i quit one last week ive saved $2200 so far and the car will be bought on time for my Birthday in November 2009. NYTSKY I like the R33 Series 1/ 1.5 front better then the Series 2 however the Series 2 interior is better. I have considered an R34 GT-T but I only really like the white 2door manual version with the Nismo Aero Kit but the R33 still wins me over. One day i plan to have an R34 GT-R however.
-
Its not all happening in one time frame, L-Plates = Exhaust, Intercooler , Dual Port BoV, CAI, Side Indicators and Interior Mods and maybe even the rims. P-Plates = (if I get the exemption) saving up for the Induction mods which ima get from Horsepowerinabox.com (Garrett GT3540, Turbosmart Gate, 6Boost Manifold), Greddy Plenum and Head Internals. If i dont get exemption ill try again if failed again ill be trading cars with my parents (lol idea but I refuse to sell cuz of government). After of P's ill probly have enuf money to get mods for the Head Work and Induction, then I will be saving for the RB30 block and its internals along with the tranny mods. I reckon the Mods alone , all up will cost 20grand-35grand not including fitting or customworks. I plan on trying to fit as much as possible. The crank im trying to figure out what I will replace it with now, i dont know if i should use a stroker crank or just a forged normal 3l item.

Unfortunatly R 2 THE J, their is no drags or drifts. There are the following race events: -Sprint, Circuit, Timed Circuit, Outrun, Highway Batttle, Tollbooth and Lap Knockout. Following Wanted Events: -Wreck (own coppers) -Bounty -Escape Boss Race / Driver Jobs: -Hot Car (deliver stolen car in good condition) -Wheelman -Draw Heat (diversion tactic) -Chase Down Atleast there is Free Roam in career , however no Quick Race free roam ( /cry) Other things I should point out is the unfair advantage the NPC Cars seem to have especcially the cops. Cops are easy to escape after pulling 1 or 2 turns or knocking a water tower onto them but with the cops and npc racers if ur 200m ahead look in the rear view mirror and you will see the 2nd place npc car / cop magically going 500+kmh and hour to catch up to u and slow down to ur speed just before they hit you. I think this is called a catch up feature and imo if you arnt good enuf to catch up to whoever is 1st fairly your crap and shouldnt deserve it. Anyone who has played Burnout 3 would probly know this. More positives include the time setting, its no longer emo nightime its a warm Fast and teh Furious style daytime which I like. Wouldnt mind working for a company making a car game, Ide make sure everything is realistic including engine sound, mods etc.

Hey im Ben and atm im only 15, almost 16 and for the past 3 years I have been obsessed with the Nissan Skyline and in under a years time I will be getting my 1st car, A Series 1 Nissan Skyline ECR33 GTS-25T Type-M. It has been my dream car for a very long time and I have already planned modifications out which include but not limited too: Nissan RB25/30DET Hybrid Conversion Featuring: -Nissan RB25 Head -Tomei Cams (not sure about duration, lift atm) -Adjustible Dial-In Cam gears (most likely HKS) -Gates Timing Belt -6Boost Steampipe Merge Collected Exhaust manifold, HPC coated and then wrapped in black heat wrap -Garrett GT3582R (0.70 Compressor Housing, 0.82 Turbine Housing) -Garrett Turbo beany ontop of HPC Coated Turbine housing and the Wastegate Pipe and Dump pipe will be HPC Coated + heat Wrapped in tan wrapping. -Turbosmart 45mm External Gate replumbed into exhaust system just before the Cat -Heat mesh stuff ( the stuff XR6T's have on their manifold) stuck around chassis of hot areas -Full braided enginebay with speedflow fittings -Greddy Intake Plenum -Q45 or XD Throttle Body -Nismo 740cc Injectors on an aftermarket fuel rail -Hybrid Spec RS FMIC -Turbosmart Dual Port BoV -3.5" Dump Pipe with Catco Cat Converter into 3.5" Mid System with muffler into Just Jap 3.5" Diff-Back System -Nissan RB30 Block -CP Forged Pistons -Spool Conrods -Aftermarket Bearings (not sure atm) -Custom CAI -75-100hp Shot of NoS single injection just before throttle body (track use) -Oil Catch Can -Standard R33 5speed with aftermarket clutch or Standard R33 4Speed Jatco with MV Stage 3 Shiftkit and internals built to handle 350+ rwkw. Exterior/Interior: Featuring: -Factory Black Paint and or Factory Silver Paint -Standard GTS-25T Type M Bodykit with the standard low spoiler -Removed front numberplate bar with plate relocated to top of bar -Nismo Clear side indicators -18/19" Speedy Cheetahs in Silver or 18/19" Volk GT-C in the Grey colour or 18/19" Starcorp Racing Fusion in Silver -Boost Gauge mounted to left of the main dash enclosur -Shift Light mounted on Steerign Wheel neck -Custom Dash enclosure featuring regulare gauges replaced with aftermarket items -Standard sound system maybe with just some upgraded speakers -Nismo Locking Tyre Valve Caps -Just Jap SR3 Style Bucket Seats -Red Seat belts (I think they are good looking lol) Maybe's -Dry Ice Setup before intake plenum -Stroker Kit -VL Diff I hope for 350-400rwkw on a high boost setting of 30psi + NoS shot (mayb) Of course that is the ultimate final list and I have made several stages that include other mods that will however be sold, stored when replaced. I have been researching for a long time and I cant wait until November of 2009 cuz thats when it all begins =)

Need for speed underground = realistic driving engine imo, when you accelerate, u accelerate, when u brake u brake, when you take your foot off the gas you here compressor surge ( in some cars), only faults in that game was when you fully mod sumthin like a Supra or a Skyline the growl of the 2jz/ rb26 instantly turns into that annoying 4cylinder sound. So I just never do up the engine part to get around this. Need for speed most wanted = alright game but the modifications were limited compared to NFSU2 , when u accelearte u dont accelerate, u do a pycho ass burnout thus forcing u to go stop to go in 2nd ( my own experience) Need for speed carbon = even less modification potential due to teh fact if u done have an aftermarket rear bumper u cant have an aftermarked exhaust WTF? , and I absoloutely hate Autoscult, every kit looks the same, drivign engine is the same as in Most wanted im pretty sure same retarded acceleration Need for speed pro street= I played for 1 day and epic quit, I HATED IT! Need for speed undercover = driving engine seems to be better then the normal most wanted onwards style, but the game is still hindered by the modification restrictions. most performance mods and visual mods are restrictive and not in depth however cruising around the highway system I must say is pretty fun and the fact cops never seem to go a shit about me speeding past is good. I did find 1 retard thing tho, when I 1st got the game I did a bit of career and bought the G35 skyline which im pretty sure (99.9999%) is a Non turbo 3.5l VQ35DE V6, however for sum reason it is turbocharged and has a BoV lol. To make the ultimate driving game i reckon it should have a map the size of GTA San andreas to drive around, the driving engine of Underground 2 and extremely indepth performance modification such as boost pressure, turbo sizing, specific internals specs, gearboxes, exhaust composition, wastegate options (screamer pips in a game would rule), BoV options (im sick of HKS lol) , etc etc thats my rant
