If you don't know how long it's been since it has had a replacement fuel filter, I would at least just do it for the sake of it. They are inexpensive and as far as i am aware, look pretty straight forward to do as it is nice and accessible in the engine bay.

Hi all, i have been reading from time to time about people needing CV boots for their stagea's and where to get them, diy fitting q's etc... i thought blow it, i will find a place who deals with it and knows their stuff. Booked my car in last week for today to have the LHS replaced (inner and outer). cost all up was $150. picked it up this arvo. getting RHS done next week. When i priced up CV boots alone from Nissan it was $75 for inner, and $54 for outer. Bugger doing it yourself for saving $21. For those interested i took it to Coast CV and Suspension in Burleigh (Gold Coast), and dealt with Chris. 5508 7700 Hope this helps someone Cheers Jez

Hi all, i was wondering if these fog lights fitted to the stag are a factory option or not ? There is a switch to the lower left of the steering wheel that flicks between the original foggies or the bottom mounted ones . also could someone do a fast check for me if possible just to see what comes up ? 6U900WGNC34129431 many thanks

it's a clifford matrix alarm, and i have found sweet f all on the net about it ........ even emailed a clifford dealer and got no reply

hey guys, just got the exhaust fitted today. I tell ya what, i am VERY impressed with RPX at moss street. $108 for fitting JJ dump and 3" hiflo cat. hour and a half later i have my car back. You can definitely hear the turbo spooling more now. Very happy with end result. car feels more responsive and definitely stronger midrange -> topend. BTW this is a S2 stagea RS4-S manual and the JJ dump doesn't foul any parts. no mods were needed. Cheers

Hi skidkid. is that measured with the wheel off ? sorry i am very new to this sort of thing ? i am running hks hipermax perfomer coilovers and as you can see on the rear, the wheels must be just scrubbing it. don't know spring rates, only that it looks like there are two different rate springs on the one shock pics [attachm ent=207840:DSCF8823__1_.jpg]

thanks for all the help guys, so very informative can't thank you enough. i think i will forget about the spacer idea too then ! i want my car to be as legal as possible. I don't really think the wheels can come out that much further any way due to how low it is. It looks like it will start scrubbing on things. It needs to stay practical for daily driver too so no crazy -camber wanted lol.

i do agree with you ryan.... once you know that they come with shite gaskets.. which is usually once you have received it.

they would be wise to then up the price and include them.

thanks for the replies guys. you have all put my mind at ease now you are right about the guard filling issue. even the 18" rims look like 16" on a stag. thats a nice wheel there RBPOWA question #2 i would like my wheels to come out to the guards more. some have recommended +20 spacers. are they illegal ? do they shorten wheel bearing life ? thanks for all the info, very much appreciated.
