Im fairly sure the injector is just knackered, i put a screwdriver on it and then put my ear against it and couldnt hear it ticking while on others i could. So my question is, if i run injector cleaner thru it will it actually work or am i just wasting money?

The injector would still fire if it was a burnt valve tho wouldnt it?

After all my dramas I've discovered with the help of a fellow booster that the issue im facing is a knackered injector. Can anyone identify the injector below? I'm told it's a 550cc Also, if you have one spare il buy it!

Yeah the rb20 does run a little lag but dam they sound amazing! I am looking for something responsive tho as im not really a speeder, just love to get there fast, hence the love of the ca right now! I have the suspension to change up the front end no troubles at all but i do still worry a little about the weight change, although i do have upgraded brakes i hear they tend to lock a little easier with the change

Thanks for the advice mate much appreceated. I've had an rb20 before and so I know they're not the best engine in the world! I had the same thought about the sr myself, they're definately a better option but dam they sound like a power of crap, I'm not so interested in going all out in the power area, iv been there and done that and nowdays im just after something with a little poke and a little bit of fun, the car is pretty much used as a daily too and from my horrible job, a little something to entertain me as i drive towards and from the horror that is work haha

Hey all, Im having a few dramas with the ca18det in my 180sx, I havnt yet had it fully examined but in the case of it requiring a rebuild im thinking il just do an engine conversion. I was having a look through the for sale section and it seems the great majority of packages for sale have already been picked to bits. So my questions are these... 1. Does anyone have a package for sale for a conversion, im looking at preferably an RB25det, alternatively an RB20det or an SR20. 2. Has anyone been down this path and have any advice or knowledge to share ie problems/hassles i may encounter, pricing, things to look out for? Thanks for any help you can offer guys and girls

Thanks mate il have a look at that. I woulda thought tho that if the earth became disconnected I would have lost all cylinders? Im going to see if i can get a compression test done too, unfortunately i dont have the equipment to do it myself.

Hey all, After a 4hour drive i developed a slight miss, this miss soon turned into a full blown one now my 180 sounds like a wrx! I thought initially that it could have been plugs so i changed them. After this i decided to switch coil pack sequence to see if they were the fault but the issue remained in cylinder 2. Does anyone have any suggestions of things I can try before sending it to the mechanic?

The green terror may be close to a year old, he's only maybe 8cm long, good coloring and very active, he's got balls tho and will even attack the Jack Dempsey so he's hilarious to watch

Thanks mate Im pretty excited to get into it! I really want to get rid of the current fish to good homes rather than a fish shop first but we'll see how i go. Are you in the marine tank world? Any pointers? I've done alot of reading but nothing beats experience

If they tell you they are then yeah I guess it does. I know mine are coz they smile at me and give me pressys!

Mate i've had them all living together for about a year, you can read all you want and people will tell you this cant live with that and so on but at the end of the day i've found fish are like people, each have their own personality. There are no scuffles etc in the tank, they all get along very well. But hey, thats just my experience from having kept fish for 4 years
