  1. V36 350GT is G35 2007-2008 Sedan. V36 370GT would then be the G37s
  2. What's the v36 sedan page?
  3. Which Focals did you get? They are awesome stuff
  4. =( no 36 huh
  5. Phew~ lol for a moment there I thought I just wasted money on doing alignment right after.
  6. Hmmm, i aligned the car right after the springs went it. Does it make a lot of difference?
  7. Yes it is much stiffer than the originals, however I like it because when you go over bumps you don't lose much traction and can accelerate out of turns and roundabouts very well. The drop is nice but seems like when I reverse up my drive way, my front end hits the pavement. Not too sure what is hitting. Will need to try it out again to see. Worse comes to worse I'll have to reverse up with one tyre at a time. Regarding accelerating out of turns and traction, might be due to the sway bars, not too sure, installed them at the same time.
  8. So 28th Dec I installed Stillen Gen 3 Ultra Long Intakes for my V36. Sounds really good ! On 31st installed Hotchkis Sway Bars and Eibach Pro Kit Lowered springs. Quite happy with the drop, sits quite nicely. Just waiting to see if it drops more over the week. Hope not too much. The sways are really awesome. Best mod ever! The difference between before and after is really big. I recommend people to get it
  9. ^ yea you can do that...unfortunately my car does not have the av thing
  10. I have made a claim on my own policy. PDS will say you will not be allowed to choose your own and you can submit your choice of repairers and all that, but what I am telling you is that, my experience with them for the past 8 years has been top notch. Much better than RAC, SGIO and other recommended insurers. I am sorry that you have shitty dealings with insurance companies and I am very picky who my policy is with as well. Mind you, I use to sell insurance so I know the shits of what those idiots would do. But hey each to his own
  11. And just to make it clear, JustCars gives unlimited mods, and choice of repairer. I have both my 34 and V36 with them. They are definitely not the cheapest and I get quality service from them every time I call. My 34 has been involved in 2 accidents (not my fault) and they let me choose who I wanted my repairer to be. AAMI on the other hand, I don't have any experience with.
  12. new place maybe?
  13. Yeah, talking about the V36
  14. I am not sure either. What I was told was as long as it was non-nav, it would be workable. Best to ask Chris...
  15. Are you importing or buying in the local market? Importing takes time and patience but saves you some money. Are you looking for a coupe or sedan? I guess for both models you're better off looking for SP models or at the least S. If you like a decent sound system, find one with Bose option. It's not up to my standard but it'll do for now I guess. The factory Bose amp is pretty decent. Sub is not punchy enough IMO. Speakers are 3-way for fronts. IMO it's missing some high mids. I've been told the coupes are better. For sedans try looking for one with an option for 4WAS. Mine didn't come from with it and not a lot of sedans will have it. Black will cost 3-5k more, sunroof another 2k? Only 10% of them have sunroof. V36 sedans start from 2007...3.5l with 5 spd gearbox. 2008 onwards are 3.7l with 7 spd gearbox but the extra 50kg in weight evens the extra power out. Coupes starts 2008? are all 3.7l with 6spd manual or 7spd auto. 07 models of both sedan n coupes interior have a flaw which is fixed in the following years batch. Some parts of the door and steering wheel finishing scratches very easily. Mine has it, prolly going to put CF film on them. I've been told non-nav cars have a solution to fit after market nav. Ask Chris Rogers on the forum, he has done it before. He is based in Qld. Cheers and good luck with your search!
  16. Love those Enkei EKM3s...looks really nice.
  17. Text or call 0413629633 or pm... Price drop $150
  18. Brand new Nintendo DSi XL Bronze, still in box, never used. Comes with Carnival Games.
  19. No problems mate. What I did was I bought the 2007 V36 350GT, And then sell if off in two years maybe and get the 370GT At the moment I don't see any differences with the 350GT and 370GT other than the 5spd and 7spd gearbox. Power wise, you get more from 370GT but the extra weight of the 7spd gearbox just means that it nets out. 370GT has a facelift and that is all that I can think of... Please buy a spec S or SP...I rather SP...just cause if you want to get a P only you can buy a formodore and get the same thing...
  20. Just a correction, the Skyline V36 Sedans have VQ35HR (PV36) and VQ37VHR (KV36) engines. PV36 are from 2006-2008
  21. From my understanding and what I've done so far, 18-19' normally run on 32-34 psi...I never go more than that...
  22. Geoff will be still looking for you, don't worry, that guy is a legend listen to him and take his advice. He has imported for a lot of us here on the forum and has done a wonderful job finding good valued cars for us and not to mention save us heaps of cash. There will be more V36 370GT next year or year after. At the moment because it is less than 5 years old in Japan, the tax is on the car is still low and people are not selling these cars as yet. When it goes over 5 years, tax goes nut, more will be on the market. Be patient or just get a V36 350GT...there is not much different with both other than the 5 spd and 7 spd gearbox and the extra power which most came to the conclusion that it evens out with the 7 spd gearbox being so much heavier. Good luck in your search
  23. Very nice dude...very nice...
