I recommend V36 coupes =P and if you are looking to import, Prestige Motorsport or Iron Chef can get you sorted and make sure the cars you get from Japan are top quality. They have agents there who will physically look at the car and comment, take a lot of pictures of whatever you want of the car and give advice. It would be a long wait though, considering DOTARs are working so f***ing slow lately.

From memory I think it's more than 3? Driver n passenger and side curtain airbags or something

I personally prefer Focal K2 or Utopia range speakers. Bright crisp sounding speakers, clear and percise.

Sorry, got lazy and didn't look up what Uprez Osiris was. Now that I did, did you do the tuning yourself or got a tuner to do it? Then again I wouldn't know what to look for in a tune, have not much experience in it. Might just go with tuners first and then maybe look at Uprev. It looks really interesting though. I've been looking around for the clusters and can't find anything anywhere for the v36..or maybe I just suck at looking at things. US$700 is, quite alot...guess it wont be something I'll be doing anytime soon. Any idea if Nistune would be able to remove speed limiter?

How did you remove speed limiter? And did you change your cluster? The JDM ones are only 180kms top speed right?

Hello, I too just got my car on auction from Japan. I got a 2007 V36 Auto SP Sedan with 36,000kms 1) I have paid for a Stillen Gen 3 Ultra Long Intake 2) Getting Eibach Pro KIt Springs 3) Hotchkis sway bars (highly recommended by alot of V36 owners. They said to make this the number 1 priority over other mods) 4) Grounding kit, have not found one yet. Someone suggested transgo shift. Not too sure if I'll go that way. Alot of money to be spent. 5) Alarm & tyres would be done on compliance. Looking at getting Yokohama S-drives or advan sport Wheel spacers seem like a good idea, might look into that. Am told the car runs rich from factory and a tune might help. Still unsure about how the tuning gets done. Update you as I go (if I remember )

Totally recommend Geoff...awesome dude and very good at what he does. Just got myself a car from Japan. Will arrive in the next two months. His advice has all been very good and will definitely save you alot of cash!

Yup classic...never fails to happen. It's amusing how they think driving slower might help. There was once this douche dropped his speed from 80 to 70km/h on the RIGHT lane cause he saw a police car. Me being me I tailgated him and flashed him repeatedly...after two mins the police car turned on the lights n sirens. Crap I thought they were gonna stop me lol...I went to the left lane n slowed down to go for the emergency lane...they sped pass me lol...they were after him!
