is there anywhere on the city side of the westgate bridge with big carparks? i know near the water/docks theres some huge space with no gates or nothing,ive always thought what a mad place to do some 1/4 runs,or driftn lol

nah i dont hate the place its just not really central for all of us,is there anywhere closer to the city? what about albertpark? but i mean if its once a month i wouldnt mind coming out that side of town,but if its anymore than that i probably wouldnt go all the time. There gotta be some new spots that no car clubs use so we could have our OWN carpark to call home lol. this had been suggested be4 but why arnt we having a 2weekly meetup somewhere central to every1 like somewhere near the westgate bridge,maybe at one of the carparks around there,this way we can all catch up to see whats going on with every1 them maybe get a few cars to go out to station peer or for a quick cruise? cause im always out on either fri or sat night cruiseing around this side of town.

ive got a timing light but u said check its 11degrees retarded??? isnt it spose to be around 15degrees advance? lol and al my exaust on my hilux sits under the tub so the only flames its gonna shoot out will be at my bags lol and i dont want them bursting,cause thats scary when that happends when driving

hmmmm yes they could be a possibility but i want to rule out the timing first and ive tried like 3 wires with the timing light and they all come out different lol

also with timing on the rb20det which way is what? cause my cas is like over to the anti-clockwise direction almost as far as it goes, but on other cars i see its around the middle? could it be timing???

Im having i think a spark problem or a overfuel prob,when i rev it out to 5000rpms its shudders and sounds like its farting lol, but 5mins ago it got me really scared as the leftover fuel in my muffler cought fire and i had a fireball out of my exaust for about 30seconds lol now does any1 think they know the prob,cause this is getting ridiculous. Im thinking it could be the oxy sensor but i thought it only works when idiling, or what happends when the car is cold? is there a sensor that tells the ecu when its at running temp and uses less fuel??? please help

thankyou leewah for clearing that up. what ive heard from leewah and the sau/bmt guys the things said at the comp ment nothing personal but just to heat up things a little which i completely understand,all i wanted in this thread was to hear the complete story,and i havnt once said anything bad about leewah or the sau/bmt guys. Most of the things i heard are from the supra guys side of things so u can imagine what i thought when i was told this (i could not beleive that any of you guys would say anything like that and act in the way they said u guys did) so thankyou leewah and every1 else and i hope u dont hold any grudges against me, and ill stick up for you guys all the time Like i said today to one of my workmates "Atleast the skyline aint some DynoBitch like the supra" lol also were actually grinding more cams so the supra can make MORE power but who they gonna beat? cause interstate theres 6cyl turbo cars that are putting out more power than they are isnt there???

the actuator arm that connects to the wastegate was too long therefore the wastegate wasnt fully shut

well inark i just hope as a club nothing was said out loud about the supra guys as i dont think this is the image we want to show ppl about the club. And for the supra guys that i know did say some smart remarks that just goes to show how much of bad loosers they are

Andrew this is from what ive heard,i was not there all this thread was to point out that now from the MAS dyno thread on these forums,also the mccr forums (which i dont give a crap about cause thereve already got a bad rep) that ppl that have never heard of us now have and only heard about the Biased things that have been said in these forums. Now ive sat on the fence till now about the leewah,supra dyno comp debarkle, ive heard over 30 accounts of what happend now i know some ppl involved with the supra personally and from what ive heard leewah won fair and square according to the rules but nobody can deny that the supra DID make more power but out of bad luck made it too late. The thing that disgusts me the most is that i heard there was ppl in the crowd from this club saying comments about the other competitor including racist comments,and vice versa. But the outcome of this has made other people inside the industry aware of our club only by bad means,now we were talking about mccr and the rep they had and we DO NOT! want this type of thing to happen do we and i think all of us can aggree with that. Now this was just a dyno comp not a war which its turning out to be and for the ppl that did say comments about the supra guys i think u all should appologise and i think they should appologise to the Skyline guys that were involved. Now to the big question???? I heard theres gonna be another shootout this time for money??? is this true?? PS im not on any1's side just stating from what ive heard from ppl inside the automotive industry also i dont want this to be a big shit fight with every1 on these forums i only want ppl directly involved to answer to this thread thank you

lol well ive made the turbo inlet out of 2 1/2" and it flanges out to 3" for the AFM, also i fixed the actuator it wasnt fully closed so the wastegate was open a little,also im still using mild steel just fixing up some of the welds seen as i rushed it when i did it then once all this is done im getting the hilux going ready to take to a few shows then ill sell it

whats the features of this ecu? also how old is it? easy to use? does it come with a loom? sensors?

i have to admit there are some really good people there but in the last 1 1/2yrs theres lots of newbies thinking there top shit and bagging every1 else.
