well i turned up to epping autobarn at 9:30pm there was about 5 cars there, i sat in the car for about 5 mins to check it out,then i got out went over to every1 to say hi, i said "how yous going" they looked at me like i was a wanker then 1 of the guys said "hey" then i asked him who was incharge of the cruise then he said"i dunno, i seen it on the forums" i asked "what forums?" he replied "hmmmm pulsar forums" then kept looking at the engine bay of a WOW!!!! vl turbo. i went back to my car sat in it for another 5 mins then drove off to check out other things. Basically piston muncher if you read this and if you were there? which id think u were the one on the phone that didnt even come say hi to me,well you could organise these things better and actually come say hi to the ppl turning up,not just your mates. anyway i ended up in tulla where there was some commos draging lol so i ended up lineing up against a WRX but i got beaten hands down LOL damn 4wd

does locking the hicas make it easier to control in a drift? also is it stiffer when sliding or trying to get it out sideways?

i found the reason, the catchcan had the lid on it and its only got like a 1mm hole for a breather, it was actually a radiator overflow bottle,sooo once i took the lid off it there was no smoke, because the oil out of the rockers couldnt breath it must have burnt it all instead. does this sound like it could have been the prob cause it aint doing it now, im gonna go buy one of those little pod filters for the top of the tank

i bought a catch can and put it on this arvo,but when i went for a drive there was a shite load of whiteish smoke out of the exaust, has this happend to any1?

yeah mate yourve already got mandrel bends, usually they buy snakes and cut the mandrell bends from that then weld them into place

well thats about 3 mm so i might try something a little smaller see what that does, cause im putting it on the dyno tomorrow to see what it does at high boost

hiya just wondering what size hole u guys used to restrict the wastegate actuator, i put something in there that had about a 3mm hole in it but only boosts to 12psi,or should i go to a more restrictive hole in it?

get ally or stainless made, if you buy the bends and some straight pipe then take it to a place that does welding it shouldnt cost u more than a slab of beer if u goto the right place

can any1 confirm what exact wire u need to check this,cause theres like 3 black wires, is it 1 of the wire that plugs into the igniter thing?

hey inark if i goto a local engineering place and get a price to get this done would you be interested? cause i was looking at my pipeing and i worked out if i get this done or even get 1 made up, then it would save almost 1 mtr of pipeing

for a N/A cam our part number is -vl30na and it gives u around 12kws extra,i put 1 in my brothers vl calais and it goes really nice around 2500 and pulls alot harder now

im up for something this weekend cause itll be the first time ive driven it in 3 months lol
