It is a great discussion, but I would never buy a grey imported R35 unless it was for the track only. There are just too many uncertantied. Issues with the Audio, GPS and speed limiter are things that come to mind. I remember looking at the Lexus SC400 back in the early days when the TV, satnav and radio could not work because of the electronics. This will be multiplied 100x with the new GTR as it has a heap more gizmos. Warranty is also a very important factor in my new car purchase. When you spend $100k> you want a nissan warranty, 3rd party insurance warranties with their limits will not cut it in this segment. While I do not care much if Grey GTR's are allowed, I do not think the $20k difference in price will not sway most buyers to choosing Grey over a nissan Oz spec unit.

Is it a Jap spec one, or an Oz spec one ? I want to see what we will have as far as the center console buttons are, as I am sure there will be some changes.

Went to 3 x BP's, 1 Shell and none had any premium, not even BP95. This is on Synney Northern beaches. Ended up having to go to a Mobil who had it at a 15c permium over ULP.

I have several racks in PowerTel in the CBD. We offer bussiness only hosting and have many RDP app servers hosted for our clients. The nice part is that we can terminat business grade SHDSL links direct to ethernet and into the racks. This solution will cost much more than any local link costs, but this is because you get the best facilities, security, redundancy and growth potential. Let me know if you need more info.

My dealer told me that no dealers have been allocated any cars, or been given GTR dealer status. All the orders and deposits have been sent to Nissan Oz and they will be dealing with us directly, although I have not heard anything yet. I do not expect much change out of $150k, as I believe we will only see the PRemium spec and may be the black spec cars here, already loaded with options. The allocation for Oz is also very small, I heard it will be 6 units per month.

nope sounds like hearsay too me. Maybe the VSpec could have more HP, but I doubt they would offer 600hp on a road car

Need Help Understanding How The License Points Are Deducted!
GTR R35 replied to nismoWOG's topic in New South Wales
I think you would be fine so long as you make sure your fine is not payed before the other points are removed. To be on the safe side fill out the court election and then pay the fine a couple of months later. And Da is not a word, it is THE, unless you are a gangsta black american rapper. -
It would be handy if it was in Engrish. Why is it Japs write some things in English and the rest in Jap ?

Is this what you were after Duncan ?

Having driven both a SMG II (M5) and a DSG (VW GTI) I can tell you that BMW brought out the manuals, because their SMG II gearbox sucks. The DSG is a great box in the GTI Golf, but the SMGII in the M5 was rubbish. I think Nissan would only bring a manual gearbox out for the "Evo" or maybe the V-Spec, more for reliable track work.

They were also built to cheat against legitimate production cars. I bet GMH were never going to release them, they just wanted their ozzie metal to compete with the rest of the worl, but they could not do it without cheating.

Adam, I have just been given a pass out for Saturday. Will there be a spot for the non Skyline driver ?

Hungry, Did you notice the "Carwings" button located on the dash of the GTR ? It is a back to base GPS system, the girl on the end of the line will even blow you...does your Audi do that ? The GTR has a disk drive nav and audio system, so I can download my music to the car. This is new as is the 2 MoFo subs in the Bose sound system. I am happy with my choice, I am also glad I have not wasted as much money as you on buying many exotic cars, even if they were all made by Biante.

Hungry, You continue feeling good about cancelling your order, as there are many people who think you have NFI and will order one. No new Tech ? Your kidding right ? It has a center display that has custimisable display of the car's vital functions. DSG gearbox, V6 motor, active suspension. and the list goes on Weight reduction. the bonnet, boot, doors and guards are made from aluminimum to save weight. It has carbon fibre driveshafts and underbody protection. they have tried to reduce weight, but the AWD system and safety features all weigh a heap. Any new car road is above 1500kg just because they are safe. Unless you build the whole car from carbon fibre, the weight will always be a problem. Your view on the GTR badge, must be viewed though rose coloured glasses. This car has managed to bet most cars around the true drivers circuit that cost over twice as much. Nissan has managed to deliver on a promise they made 6 years ago, buy giving us a car that is well priced and an awsome drive. It will not suite everyones tastes in styling or perfomance, but I am sure as hell gonna keep my spot, as I will be one of the first to get one. For $150,000 I cannot buy a new M3, but I can get a true GTR supercar.
-
AFAIK, there is no 2007 model, they will be released tomorrow, but all the deliveries this year will be a 2008 model or MY2008's. The USA will get theirs mid next year and we will see them early 2009. So the model is a 2008 GTR. The magazines are jst getting confused over all the info that was released last week unexpectantly.
-
We have been told UP TO $150,000, although the dealer said it should be about 120.
-
I think to put the car into perspective, it would be similar size to the land yacht 300Z. Fat, long and low.

Cinching down the chin strap of his helmet, Toshio Suezaki's appearance transforms just before his thumb deploys the tidy flush-mounted door catch of the 2009 Nissan GT-R. The factory test driver is innocuous and soft-spoken, but in this moment his eyes harden. It is behind the wheel of this car, still camouflaged to frustrate spy shooters, that Suezaki-san will wield violence incongruous with his bookish manner just minutes later More Info HERE?
