anyone gonna organise a north/west meet point like the last cruises?

have u checked the plug which connects to the dizzy....try cleaning to...i had dramas with that on my 31

the valve on the muffler could be stuck therefore the switch wont work cause the motor isnt strong enough to close or open it...get under the rear muffler and check it...u should be able to open and close it with ur hands...its right behind the muffler...u can see where the lever goes to

im in the process of doin the same thing to my 34 but doin it a little different....im using the rear motor the same as u have done but what im doin is disconnecting the motor from the factory loom completely....ive got an Apexi RSM meter with has a postive output which can be selected at a certain RPM that u want...what im doin is using the output from the RSM meter through a relay to run the motor on the sprayer...so what happens is that if u select the RSM meter at 5000rpm then once the car hits 5000rpm the spray will come on automatically....the rpm can be set to anything so if ur car starts hitting boost at around 3000rpm u set it at 3000rpm and the sprayers come on at boost.... This is just a automatic way of doin it so u dont have to worry bout flicking switchs to activate it...the good thing is that the function can also be turned off on the RSM to stop it all together.... Hope it all made sense to everyone...good luck if trying this method

you could have a problem in the headunit where the vol switches are getting stuck and therefore when u hit bumps...they either increase or decrease the vol...this is a common prblem if the headunit uses push buttons for the vol instead of a rotary knob

where bouts are you?

i know someone with everything for the conversion except the clutch pedal....its an R34 gearbox and all the master cylinders etc for the complete conversion...he wants $1900 for the lot...the gearbox has 19,000 km on it...

make sure the ant trigger wire is wired up to the ant booster box...should be a red with black

leaving the car on accessories while err is flashing for about an hour should clear the lock out problem....depending on the model....It is possible that i could remove the code for ya but ur a little to far away!!....i dont think nissan will be able to help ya as its from japan...they wont have any records of serial numbers....if u car try post a pic of the unit...u might even have the right code but entering it in wrong!

Hey Bass..thanks for the guide...i went to put it on but it wouldnt fit past the bonnet unhook latch...i noticed on the guide a marking where it was hitting where i assume it was supposed to be cut but wasnt cut...after follwing the line with a hacksaw blade, i cut out a little section and then it was spot on...dont know if anyone else had the same problem with the standard bar...nevermind it fts now and looks good.... thanks.......oh and i hope u sorted out the cabbie

these lamps are a miniture type....if ur not a technician then i wouldnt recommend ya to do it....u have to pull the face apart, probably unsolder the LCD and then replace the globes... if u were in melb id be happy to help u out but i guess ur a bit to far away...any car raio shop that does repairs should be able to do it 4 ya...im guessin they should only be chargin ya round $30 to $40 .....u would have to get the globe from dicksmith or jaycar...if they are LEDs u have to be carefully not to put em in back to front but im 80% sure they just use globes

They could be globes or LEDS...if they are globes then they would be 12V globes but if they are LED they would be 3V....the last schnieder radio i fixed used LEDs to backlight the display...its not a big problem and can be fixed quite easily...as for the antenna the radio doesnt have the function of ant trigger to stop 12V to the ant motor when u put a cd in...it has just a constant trigger which is used to run an amp and an ant...but this will continue to put 12V to the ant wether u play cd or radio...only the top end models has the facilty for the ant to go down when u play a cd...theres not much that can be done unless u modify the radio internally but u need experience to do that...im sure its no big deal anyway

Nakamichi make some good quality stuff including the speakers....listen to them before u buy them and see how they sound but they are very good speakers

If u turn the unit off using the SOURCE button while the IGNITION is ON...push and hold the FUNCTION button for a couple of seconds... this will bring up a menu where u should be able to adjust the time and any other functions that the unit has....Try this and see how u go
