-

Well actually i should mention that hidden costs can come when they strip down your motor coz you never know exaclty what the damage is. In my case the head needed a reco so 1500 dollars there. So 'hidden' in the sense but should be expected really

I just got my gtr freshened up by glen from chasers with new rings, bearings, reco head and all oil control mods and he will sort out exactly what you need. If your going to upgrade your oil pump than a larger sump is a must! Allow around $1500 for sump, as mentioned in earlier post change all your hoses to new ones - approx $600, water pump and timing belt ect.. and as you can see the costs can go up pretty quickly if you havnt done your homework, But glen is good and he will price up everything accordingly so there is no hidden surprises

Awesome thanks mate. Keep up the updates very interested in this

This is pretty cool! Someone early on said this is a supertaxi. Whats the difference between this and a supercar? What suspension and setup does is run?
-
Sony a57 is also a great camera. Very easy to use and for a beginner it is easy getting use to.

Good on him! But what happened at the end? Did they release the car without him paying? You definitely have to be a crackpot and a genius to do this -

With my nitto pump im using a 1.1mm -
I think it looks pretty cool except for the oil cooler LOL wtf why?
-
I think this is only half true. Most of us gtr owners are running over 300rwkw and you cant go wot everywhere anyways. So you need to pick your spots. The gtr motor produces such a beautiful sound that for me half the driving experience and enjoyment comes from the sound it makes.
-
Terry are those true equal length front pipes? They look longer than the midori ones
-
^ are the RSR pipes equal length like the Mines front pipes? are you going the 90mm Midori pipe? Ti or SS? i'm thinking of changing, but would love to hear the difference. Poss organise a time to have a listen? Hey mate no the rsr pipes look like this.. And the midori pipes are titanium 90mm. I recently bought them of the forum and should have them arrive this week. The motor is out atm but everything should be put back and tuned up by chasers end of this week/early next week. Would love to meet up. PM your number and will definitely organise a time for a listen Pic of midori front pipe.. Are these an equal length design? I cant find much info on them that states what design they are. I bought them more hopefully for the sound, even though I have never heard them before or know how different it will sound to the rsr pipes I already have lol

Oil Pump Question : 600+Hp Rb26
dkbcleaner replied to rb26stagea's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
your making a lot of power and you will definitely need a proper oil control set up. With any larger oil pump you will definitely need a larger sump. have a read of this. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/110680-oil-control-in-rbs-for-circuit-drag-or-drift/ and this.. http://hioctaneracing.com/blog/2010/11/19/the-reality-of-the-rb26-oiling-system-part-2.html -
im running a ganador racing titan titanium cat back and a rsr front pipe and no drone what so ever. Its very quite below 4k rpm, Above 4k rpm and it sounds like the world is about to end! Im picking up a titanium midori front pipe this week for some extra scream If you want that unique titanium sound without the drone looks like you might have to go a system like mine or daniel's
