Anything is possible if you have the money. Have you looked into converting a gtr into lhd. I'm sure it would be much easier to do that and probably cheaper and more reliable too. Not to mention all the extra good stuff and looks a gtr has over a gtt.

Hey mate the above car looks reasonable for that price but I think you should consider getting one with the things you already want on it. Exhaust, pod, coilovers are quite common and to find a car that already has those mods is only going to cost you roughly around an extra 2k anyways. Now factor in the price of say a good set of coilovers you looking at about 2k for that plus the other things you want to do to the car. So buying one with those mods is going to save you money that your trying to save now. Also I hope you have factored in insurance (approx $1500 for full comp) and rego $600 (if buying privately) and a full service up to $500. I'm sure a lot of guys on here would also agree on having at least an extra 2k in the bank for any unexpected problems. After purchasing my gtt with 68k on the clock my coilpacks went after about 3 weeks of ownership, so that was around $800 for a set of new spitfires. Remember your buying a car thats 10 years old and whether it has low kays things still wear out over time and need changing. Good luck with your purchase.

Mate I think you should try and buy one with a exhaust, pod, intercooler on it. I did and it will save you a lot of money. Besides those mods are so common that it's almost impossible any thing can go wrong with them. Then with any left over cash I would spend it on a good ebc $300 - $400 and a nistune $750. That should get you around 200rwkw. When you get bored of that than budget at least 6k for the next step of turbos, injectors ect. Also a retune for nistune is only about $250 anyways.

Yeah definitely a rip off. If it's your pads depending on brand they should cost you $150 to $250 for the front pair for something decent and machining the front rotors shouldn't be more that $50 for the front either.

For 3 weeks you should be fine. Just disconnect the battery and park it in a safe place. I've gone on holidays for 2 to 3 weeks at a time with other cars and they started and ran fine. One of my friends just recently started his worked 1990 turbo supra after 9 months of sitting in his garage. Put a new battery in and ran and drove beautifully and changed the fluids later that day. As for the tappets sorry I have no advise to help you with that.

Has to be a speed camera. It doesn't look like it's before an intersection so it can't catch people running a red. It seems like the government is just trying to not make it less obvious. I mean how easy is it to look at each side of a intersection to see if there is a camera and then slow down when you see it. All cameras are meant to have warning sigs at least 100 meters before the camera on each side of the road, so maybe check the sign and it will tell you. If it says something like 'safety camera operates in this area' than it's a speed camera, or both.
