if you are modding your car in the future, your stock turbo will only reach 200rwkw at the most and after that it will run out of puff...stock turbo is made out of ceramic, that means u can not boost it past 1bar otherwise u will find pieces of it stuck at your cat converter...

have similar incident, 1st night after i bought my car from da dealer, i took my car out for a drive around richmond, got pulled over by a male and a female partner cop, and the male cop was very amazed about my car(back when it was ALL stock), he asked, "r34 yeh?" and i replied "yes officer, my first night out since i bought my car yesterday". officer, "nice ride"(look around trying to find defect for my car)...lolz...

i needed more details tho...the one in the tutorial with r33, it doesnt helped me much... i need to know where the gearbox plug located and the fill plug as well, as i am a newbie with this kinda stuff.. is the gearbox plug next to the sump plug or somewhere else located?? is it visible enough if u go underneath the engine with the cover on?? or cover off?? i mention these becoz when i did my oil change, i didnt have to take the cover off... so needs more details...please help... what sort of gearbox oil should i use and diff. oil... cheers

hi all, this forum has been a great helped to me doing things yourself, i just did oil change, oil filter, fuel filter myself the other day thru the tutorial and guidelines here in SAU , now im about to do my gearbox oil change and diff. oil change as well, as its been 85k's now on the odo. (but could be more knowing its an import car) but could not find the link or tuto. here ....been searching for the last 2 days and it doesnt show how to do it for R34 NEO DET engine, only the previous car model... please some help here...just show me the link and ill be good... and some link how to install walbro pump 255 lhp for ER34 too, if u could... cheers guys...

my case was, they saw my car drove pass and THEY THINK it was excessive noise from my exhaust or faulty exhaust system, and took my number plate and send me these stupid noise test .... i have a cannon type of exhaust on, and i went to one of the exhaust tester, told me its too loud to have it on, he said, i just need to stick back the standard muffler on for test and do the certificate and put the cannon back on again ..lolz... which is great...so hopefully ill get it done asap...

cheers Baset, someone offered me a stock exhaust for sale, so might grab that one instead for peace of mind.... just hated thinking bout it, eventhough its only a "noise test", i can not believe it as i only drive my car on the weekend...but still lucky enough its not a FULL TEST... hi all... i was checking my mailbox today, and found, you guess it, EPA letter, i owned my car LESS THAN A YEAR and i already got EPA'd...and i hardly drive it around .. anyways anyone here, generous enough to lend me their stock r34 MUFFLER ONLY just to get the certificate done or i can rent it out for a day or two.??? im from the west side of melb. so anyone from the west would be good...but if not, ill be happy enough to drive around to pick it up... cheers guys..

ok, results from my shopping, i ended up buying the cooling pro stealth from JJR and walbro fuel pump thru Dr.Drift...pick it up yesterday and now just waiting to fit everything in next week or so.... cant wait the result for this mods..how much do u reckon guys will add this mod to my power??cooler, fuel pump and boost to 12 PSI?? im already running 175rwkw or more with better fuel.. and heres some pix i took today: is there anything else missing in my cooler package guys? or thats about it?? its my first cooler so have no idea what comes with it really... cheers

im already running 10PSI as my high boost with Greedy profec II... mods atm are: -full 3" exhaust all the way to turbo back with high-flow conv. 3" -pod filter -and just boosted to 10 PSI -with the result of 175 rwkw (could have been 180rwkw or more if i had BP fuel in my tank at the time of the dyno, i used the really cheapest fuel back then which i got told to stop using them and used premium BP fuel for more power increase and engine safe in the future, i was nob back few months ago..lolz)i got mine dynoed at Chasers footscray.. soon to be fitted: -cooler stealth from JJR -walbro fuel pump if have the cash: -ECU remapped or PFC -fuel injector and that would be it for the meantime...

well, ii have read a lot of topic about stock r34 gtt turbo as to how much it can handle its stock turbo, im running 10PSI at the moment, which is very safe (and getting quite bored at it), but if i do decide to boost it up to 12 pounds, i dont always have it on at 12 pounds everyday, anyday...and i only use my car to drive to work, never done drag strips or tracks or any kind..and if i decided to give the car a hard time, it will be once or twice a week, depending on the streets (if any smartasses try to be a hero next to me)..lolz... but yeah under 1 bar should be ok...appoved by few mechanics i knw who done er34 before in their shops.. if turbo decided to give up on me, then thats another excuse to up-grade to a bigger one, i supposed, but hope not too soon..lolz.. cheers anyways...

cheers guys for the response.... kinda leaning towards cooling pro stealth, if not much difference tho compare to BLITZ one, or might go with un-name brands or something... im not really chasing a big number not for a lil while..its my daily drive ...but im "ITCHING" at the same time to get my FMIC done ASAP including my Fuel pump and up the boost to 12 PSI...if i can find today a decent and reasonable price cooler at any shops, i might get everything done this coming friday(11th sept.) if Chasers are not busy to install my sh*t... just getting bored with my 175rwkw at the moment..lolz.. wish me luck fellas..

hi gangs... first thing first, i did use the search button for intercooler but could not find what i was looking for... now, im looking to up-grade my intercooler soon, budget, $600-700 for a decent kit... i rang up access autoworks, vermont, and they only got the type R's and too expensive for my pocket.. i did some research again, and saw JJR's intercooler for a very cheap price at $550 its the cooling pro stealth, now i dont knw if anyone tried this cooler before for r34 gtt?? is it any good?? im only after for a 300rwkw intercooler or less.. and anyone can point me a genuine hybrid intercooler here in victoria?? shops that sells hybrids cooler?? cheers guys.. COOLING-PRO STEALTH INTERCOOLER KIT - $550.00 anyone tried the cooler up there??
