I have my old 350Z Touring Brake Kit for sale. I upgraded to OEM Brembo during my ownership. Front rotors and pass have plenty of life. DBA slotted rotors. Front pads are Hawk ceramic. Will include brand new set of Ferodo DS2500 pads too. Rears are OEM originals. Rotors and pads. All lines and dust shields. Calipers included. Pickup only Doncaster 3108. $300 Note: I am prepared to separate the rotors and pads. As a bonus I’ll throw in a set of calipers and lines as well ?

Also includes the genuine centre caps, 4x genuine replacement stickers (when/if required) and a set of McGard Tuner lugs and locks (black).

Hey guys, I recently picked a rev-up airbox for my 350Z and it came with the pipe or "Z-Tube" which I don't require (as I already have one). Therefore I thought someone here might be interested. Would purchase from the local tuner at an AUD price. I wouldn't worry about this just yet I would need to check comparability with JDM cars now but it is one of stages to reverse engineer the ECU to local markets (ie: Australian Z33). If ECU already compatible then nothing stopping you buying now. If you get the Tuner though you forgo Uprev support.

I'm all for someone working on getting this to the Sydney market My goal is to have a Pro Tuner in Melb by end of March 2010.

I'll be following up early in the new year. Tuner shop approached was interested but requires them to get more involved. I'll also add that the chosen reflash is Orisis from Uprev. From eBay I'd with the one sold buy myNismo.com. They have an excellent reputation with US 350z guys. EDIT: Email them direct and get that shipping price down

I've looked at a couple of reflashes in detail and narrowed the list two products that would be best for the Aussie market. Both offer these features. +1 to pw350gt. It all depends on your car. Tuning doesn't create power, it unleashes it. Tuning is efficiency and a by-product of that will be more power. So if your car is in good shape, and there are gains to be made, there will be gains made. Add more parts that add a mechanical advantage, and the tuning will net you even more gain.

Hi guys, There has been a little discussion over on 350Z-Tech about ECU Reflash/Tuning of our cars. As we share the same heart (engine) I thought I’d extend the little fact finding exercise I started over at Tech here to better gain an understanding of what VQ owners would want from a tune if it was available. This will assist in determining if there is a business case to develop and take to a tuner (ie UpRev with Osiris). This should only take 2 minutes and I would appreciate your input. Parameters that the tune will include at minimum: - Up to 5 Maps on cruise control equipped vehicles - Idle RPM - Speed Limiter - Electronic Throttle Control to achieve Wide Open Throttle at all speeds. - Rev Limiter - DTC disable - AFR Targets - Fuel Compensation - Ignition Timing Advance - Cam Phasing for equipped vehicles. Additional questions (optional): 4. What features in would you like to see in addition to those listed above? 5. What on-going support would you like to receive from the tuner? 6. Any other comments.

I re-read my post and yeah I was a bit rough (and incorrect) in my reply - sorry dude. It's just that you have purchased a very nice car and I just wish that you had taken out insurance to look after it in this "what if" scenarios that horrifyingly came true. I hope you can see point. I really do hope that this works all the best out for you and I strongly recommend talking to an experienced lawyer about it. Brad has an excellent suggestion about "no win no fee" lawyers. As you have a strong case they are likely to take your case on.

^^ = Karma. It is illegal to drive anywhere in Australia without at least 3rd party insurance. These are two very different scenarios. A scratch is very hard to prove and is what a "reasonable person" would expect these liability terms to be limited to. There are many cases involving dry-cleaners and car-parks where the terms have been printed on the back of ticket. Despite this who actually ever reads them? The owner has entered into a contract for a service to be provided to him. A "reasonable person" would expect that one of the main conditions of that contract would for their car to be given back to them after they service was performed. Questions for the lawyer: Where were the car keys while you were paying for the car wash? Was the car locked while you paid inside? Don't pay for insurance for your car. Don't want to pay a lawyer either... As it is in your best interests to contact a lawyer about this situation (particularly when you don't have insurance) I would seek out the best lawyer you can afford. The smarter your lawyer the better your chance you have for getting them to buy you a new car. You've got much bigger problems than this mate.

+1 Add-in the hair-dryer to make it a little easier. Don't forget to wax the area after you clay as well. Might need a little polish too depending if there is any build-up around the badges before waxing. EDIT: importantly... and go SLOWLY!! with the fishing line
