Hey guys, Selling a pair of 18x8 HR-109's. these are an awesome looking rim for skylines and i still have them on my car. the reason im selling these 2 is because i purchased 2 more to replace the rears in a 9" wide rim. Rims are skyline PCD 5x144.3 i think it is but im sure you buys will correct. fit on front and back of my R33 perfect. these rims will also clear big brakes including AP 6Pots. They are located in the SE suburbs of victoria. can help arrange frieght if you want. They are in good condition, only a few minor wear marks on them, more then suitable to put on a car or use as skid rims or watever. 1 rim is bare 1 rim has a worn 18" tire on it still. I purchased this muffler from my local exhaust shop. it is the biggest size possible in this range and was a special order through magnaflow. The muffler is full stainless and very very nice. has the magnaflow logo's etched into each tip. I payed about $370 for this muffler however as i no longer need it i will be selling it for $200. hey guys, Car will also be supplied with an Engine Condition Test Result. including a Leakdown Test (tests condition of valve seating ability and piston ring condition.) and also Compression test. Can easily get anything else down to ensure the new owner that the car is in awesome condition.

hello guys, i have recently had a change of heart in regards to my beloved skyline. as the topic states, its a White 1996 R33 M-Spec with 133,***Kms on the clock. now most of those K's were highway K's from the previous owner who was a pilot and constantly driving to airports around Vic country and previously imported by private skyline enthusiast. I have owned this car for the last 14 months and it hasnt missed a beat the whole time, been extremely impressed with the car and i have maintained it to the highest standard. im a mechanic and have looked after this car like a child. serviced every 4,000K's with Mobil semi synthetic oil. genuine oil filters and fuel filter. GENERAL 1996 R33 S2 M-Spec. 133,***KMS White 5 Speed Manual ENGINE Serviced every 4K's with Mobil S oil. Genuine oil filters and gen fuel filter replaced. Only ever run it on 100 octane fuel sourced from SE suburbs of Vic Diff and Gearbox with Redline Shockproof fully synthetic race oil. both in perfect condition. Just had service including gen fuel filter. Just Replaced Timing belt with Gates Racing timing belt and new tensioner and idler bearings. Platinum plugs just installed. K&N Panel filter Cooling Pro return flow front mount cooler painted black to stay hidden from sight to keep the factory look. new higher tension and greater throw turbo actuator replaced. New HD Clucth replaced which is garunteed for 300RWKW but is still organic disk so perfect for daily driver. INTERIOR great condition S2 interior, few minor scuffs but overall very good condition. much nicer then any other skyline ive been in. 3 center console guages, boost, water temp and volts. out of sight from cops. Alpine Media reciever Headunit, awesome headunit. aftermarket speakers. MTX splits up front and Jaycar Kevlar down back. EXTERIOR Factory white paint. Genuine M-Spec Body kit all around including M-Spec front spoiler. few minor scuffs and scratches but nothing major, would say its 8/10 but i am picky. still great condition for its age. Like new HR-109 Rims. 18x8 Front 18x9 down back. AWESOME Nitto Invo tyres down the back in 275 wide. filled guards and awesome grip! fronts have 225 wide cheapy tyres but still grip very well. %80 left all around. Lowered with stg1 king springs but factory shocks to retain smooth ride but still give a better stance. Custom but still standard issue plates [ECR-333]. will be supplied for right price but up to the buyer. Car also comes with a set of 17' Stagea wheels which look great on R33's. car is a really good buy for someone looking for a quick reliable car for cheap. only reason im selling is i have found another car i would like to purchase. the skyline has never missed a beat. been fantastic. would highly reccomend inspection as first to see will fall in love.still have factory parts that have been removed from car for upgrades so everything will be provided with car like intercooler and springs. Reg runs out start of MAY. will come with 12months reg as part of the cost but i can let it run out or watever if buyer wants. car will be supplied with RWC. Would highly recomend someone semi local purchase this car as i will be able to assist them after sale with anything they need as i work on these for a living. Has tune in it for standard injectors and standard air flow meter so you can plug it in to your standard car and will run great. Hey guys, i recently had an insurance claim so i got a nice new series 2 M-spec front bar to return my car back to standard looking so i have a great pair of the standard series 2 fog lights. These lights/indicators also are required if you purchase an 'explosive' style front bar which i have aswell(bit damaged but usable $50 its yours) so these are working, no problems. factory white in colour. Want $150firm for them. a cv8 is hardly a comparison to the falcons in question. and im not making this comment because i dont like fords or aussie cars, i talk from experience. dont get me wrong though, (i know its not wat your looking for in this thread just saying though) i would actually own an Fg F6 for a daily driver. if money wasnt an issue the Fg's are a much much nicer car as a whole then the BF.

i have to say that no matter how much money you spend on suspension on any BA/F or FG they still wont be able to go around corners any good.

engine in the ba onwards is night and day compared to the SOHC in the previous models. not saying its on RB or JZ level but it has come a long way with its development. extremely easy to make power out of them. and hoold together ok as long as you dont rev them hard. this isnt as much as a problem as your usable rev range is lower because you have the extra torque from it being a 4L opposed to a 2.5/6 in the skyline. Standard turbo is great on Ba/Bf models and wont be replaced. are some complications with the standard turbos on the FG's though as the turbo varies between the xr6t and the typhoons. the best advice i could give would be for you to answer 1 vital question. "How long do you plan on keeping the car for?" i would say that if you plan on keeping the car for a decent amount of time i would strongly suggest getting a nissan over a falcon. the overall build quality (including mechanically) is FAR FAR superior. i see FG's that have oil leaks in less then 10,000K's.they are a pain to stop them leaking oil. if you were going to spend 35K i would seriously consider getting a BF Mk2 6spd Auto and spend a little money on it. you will make some good snort out of it for cheap. will beat a lot on the road as it will put the power down with the 6spd if you drive it correctly.

how come it will effect hicas? steering position pickups or something on factory wheel??

hey mate, $450 to do timing belt sounds pretty good if that is including the idler and tensioner but make sure they change them as most belt failures are caused by the tensioner and idler damage to the belt. as far as the rest of your service i would do engine, gearbox and diff oils. replace spark plugs but INSPECT your coolant, chances are it will be fine, if its rusty or dirty then replace, you will be able to look yourself just take off your rad cap (make sure engine is cold so you dont spray yourself). dont touch your injectors, never heard of any dramas with stock injectors and if your car is running rough then chances are its gonna be something else anyway. and obviously brakes if you need them. if you have any questions feel free to PM me

im sure that there are variances on every fuel that is made purely because of the simple fact that it is a product that is made from a process, and the process is not going to be 100% the same every time. you can get personal use octane testers however im not sure how much they are worth, but you have to think that your not going arrive at a petrol station and buy a sampleof fuel to test before you fill up. I have tuned my R33 for 100octane which i purchase from the same place every time, its the only stuff my car has ever run on and going back on what you said in your original post, i have definitely noticed that some batches have made my car rattle at certain load points. sometimes its fine and i had taken ambient air temperature into the equation, however it still rattled on colder days with the same bad batch so the only common point was the fuel. for people that are purely performance based i guess the only really way to be 110% safe is to tune for a fuel that has an octane rating a little lower then what you actually run your car on, that would give you an very safe buffer zone regardless of how hot the day gets, but of course it would compromise on your overall power output. its all compromise. sorry have gone off to stuff that's irrelevant really as you are talking about a standard vehicle.

i would just like to add that i can tell you for fact that the refineries produce extreme variances on the RON rating of there fuels. i know of a certain refinery that at a very certain time of the month the octane rating can reach 106 and thats being sold as there premium. still do not know why this is, we believe it may have something to do with the staff working at the refinery at that given time. anyway, believe me or not but its been tested so yeah. just food for thought.
