  1. 1 more sleep. Car is kinda ready....
  2. That is all true. The point of argument is that as the driver of the car turning right you should reasonably expect a vehicle in the slip lane to be: 1. Turning left 2. Slowing down and merging None of which the other driver proceeded to do.
  3. Even if you were coming from the other side of the road, ie from right to left. It is the same deal, as that lane is a slip lane you had every right to expect the car in that lane to be turning left off the hwy. If that driver in the slip lane had obied the signals on the road there wouldnt have been an incident. While the slip lane does merge there, the speed of the impact, the direction of which the car that hit you etc etc should all point to that driver not indenting to merge. Thus negating any claim that you failed to give way to a merging vehicle.

  6. ah that is true, shipping would be $80
  7. jrr = 350 FPR backed, holfords = 600? Kevlar backed?
  8. lol there is no way in hell that the universal 'rail' (which is in-fact just a sliding mechanism, no base) will fit into a skyline without some welding. John the jjr rail will work, you may need to drill your own holes in the jjr rail to mount to seat to, that is it. But they mount the seat pretty high. And you can't use the rail that is already on the car, as you will need to re-weld/cut/hack it up to mount it to the bride style seat. The ///M runs one of these (to fit e36), I run one in my car as well. http://www.nzkw.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=104_93_96_130&products_id=250 Attach the slider that comes with the seat onto that base, nice a low. easy.
  9. 41 cars is nothing, still less than 10 in a group.
  10. The google's says that side of the rd is malvern east...The other side of the rd is caulfield. In any case, yes it is in caulfield. From memory it cost an extra $70 is you want it done there on the spot.

  12. You may have left it late to renew CAMS, it generally takes 10 days to fully process. You won't be able to renew on the day, though check with wrx club. [email protected] Prob have to sign up for AASA if you can't get CAMS through...You can do that at Winton. Or drop into CAMS in caulfield? Though that may cost extra $$$. The motoX helmet will need AS1698 or greater sticker on it (SNELL or FIA as well).
  13. me from Australia, you know Russel Crow is from Australia unless you want a phone in your face....LET ME ON?!?!?!
  14. We talk rear wheel kw here, as measured off the rollers or hubs. 240kw is going to net you around 200-220rwkw. You sure it is the stocker turbo? You realise the exhaust wheel is made of glass, well ok ceramic. Anything after 12PSI is asking to have the exhaust wheel end up down the exhaust. Tao it would be interesting to see the ATR43G2 in .63 with some boost control. Comparing it to the 3071R's in the results thread it is laking in response a little, even against the .82 rear. And youre run has is starting off at 1.4bar and bleeding off, where as the 3071's run a pretty constant 1.1-2bar'ish
  15. sounding like a true race driver there Ash. - if i had AO50's - if i had another 50rwkw - if i had more experience - if the sun was higher in the sky - if the air pressure was higher - if i hate eaten lamb instead of pork last night
  16. Take it to the track and watch the pods (have an air box? chocolate milk in the bottom of it) leak oil out of them
  17. I would love to see that Either way there are a million different ways it could be done. Negated by the fact the oil vapor is effectively lowing your octane ratting, thus causing or leaving you open to knock.
  18. Really, so having the pipe work 10cm in, 10cm out. With for instance 100cubic mm of surface area for the oil to come in contact with. That is going to perform the same duty as 45cm in and 45 cm out with 450cubic mm of surface area for the oil to come in contact with? Surly the more you can break down the vapor the better? but yeh maybe he is right, the air may not 'slow' down as such. after 30 odd track days my can only has residue inside it and the intake pipe is clean.
  19. Connect a justjap / autobarnz / ebay can between the cam breather and intake pipe. I made the hoses long to reduce the speed of the air so it wasn't just going to suck oil vapor straight out of the pipe. As there are no baffles in these cans.

    Good work.
  21. no skyline in the top 10. damn short wheel base, turning around on yourself shit.
  22. It has both actually. In the 6-7 I have done (21U) they generally have 2 studs at the bottom with nuts, the other 4 are bolts. Charles this is a piece of piss and a pain in the ass at the same time. Realistically it is a 1 beer job, maybe 2 if you still have all the heat shielding and shit installed. WD40 the nuts/bolts up heaps. Let it sit for at least 10 mins, then hit em again. Then try to crack them one by one, once cracked roll them backward and forward 1/4 turn. If they are still tight keep rolling then backward and forward, if they are loose and coming out just undo them all the way. If they are tight and you don't roll them back and forward you risk snapping them. Dance a jig and stand on your head drinking water also helps.. :| The bottom and top ones are a piece of piss, the two in the middle can be hard to get at. You will need a new one of these. Andy should be able to get them for you in singles without the rest of the kit. http://www.kudosmoto...-neo-p-472.html 1 x Genuine Nissan Turbine Outlet Gasket (Turbo to Dump Pipe)
