  1. I've had similar issues in the past with cheap radiators. My first one clogged up with shit and did the same as what you are describing. Take the rad out, put a garden hose on one end and let it rip. If it flows fast, you have other problems, if it doesn't get a new rad. (Thanks to Trent for that)
  2. E.........ch........ooooooooooooo
  3. ROTA in 17" or DriftTek? http://www.option1garage.com.au/NewWheels.htm 4x 255/40 R17 RS3 + Post = ~$900 (tirerack) RS3 are 140tw like RSR and R1R. Else RSR are around $1200 shipped locally
  4. $40 for the radiators now, $50 for the re-core.
  5. Car ran well at Calder, knocked off some time from last year.

  6. Pump was dead.

  9. shit forgot no lock bar. good plan for sure.
  10. Well get on the power then, nistune, boost 't and away you go . Oil cooler is a serious must if you want the engine to last and save money as the oil will be shagged now. 2 hot laps and I was cooling down (didn't have time to fit the cooler on the car), then hit it up for 1-2 more hot laps after the cool down lap.
  11. 1-2 seconds is a lot of time...I saw your engine bay, but didn't see your stocker boost actuator are you running a 1bar gate actuator or something? also my data logger had me at 207kmh on my fastest lap. Gearing maybe different on the 34 to 33...
  12. 4000's will crack on the track. I've gone through a set as have many others (Calder, PI and Sandown) rda, dba5000's, pmu single's in 324mm with UAS spacers is the other thing you can go. I did, but you chew through pad's.
  13. I'm running the ksport 8pot 330's on the front with stocker 33 gtst brakes on the rear. blue stuff up front with yellow stuff on the rear. One track day down, no problems. fitment with 17" depends on the rim. RPF1 will not fit. super advan, te37, gramlight will.
  14. Bit of action from Calder with the new shell car, all went well. (I left the racechrono phone at home)
  15. ah crap, i saw it up on the jack at one stage. pain in the ass problem to have.
  16. More pics here
  17. Looks like the 'old formation driving there Marty.
  18. Jake how did your car go? You were parked in the boon docks and I didn't get a chance to chat. Hope to see you at Winton the car sounded good on track. The other silver 33 gtst lost his turbo as well....So yet again the first shakedown for the year took its toll. Hope to see all back at the track soon! Sunburn all round, nothing broken, faster time than last year. Good shakedown for the new shell.
  19. G2 i better gets me a hurry on. Also there are some road works happening as well...farkn http://www.citylinkroadworks.com.au/works_in_detail.htm
  20. ASI 52mm radiator and JJR oil cooler and re-locator kit.
  21. ^with the excuses already. Mine was in a million pieces a week ago! (and I still have to do the oil cooler)
  22. Yes he has moved and if eastlink had a Chelt rd get off heading into the city it would be piss easy to get to. And...the noise is not so bad. Its the old fumed out situation that is the challenge
