  1. When/if mines goes I'll be putting a 34 neo in there, $1800 + install. Pickup a little more power at the same time. Building an engine for a street car is like masturbating with sandpaper, somewhat enjoyable at the time. But later on when you goto use it again, its gonna hurt like a bitch. Its defiantly from the bottom end? Something hasnt come off the clutch and its knocking..? Pulling straws I know, but you can only hope... Mohsen or Grant... http://www.carsales.....aspx?R=9513923 Read more http://en.wikipedia...._3_Series_(E30)
  2. same experience as king. if you can find one with the venting forward of the valley cover (coil and spark cover) you will be fine. but if the venting is behind the cover you will get water in there when its raining and the car is stationary, while its moving you will be fine. The water falls between the engine and the radiator on this one. water falls on front of the cover on this one while the car is stationary. Edit...both of those are 3rd of the weight of the oem bonnet.
  3. Mines R34 is there tho...
  4. http://www.worldtimeattack.com/index.php/cyber-evo-returns-to-defend-the-title/ “We will only be doing one event in 2011 and that is World Time Attack, we had such a fantastic experience last year”
  5. I bent (only slightly) the rear left tsuchia rim at Phillip Island. Needed to hit the track at winton the weekend after. Had a set of silver tri's. Got the tyres put on, cleaned em up with acetone and 1400 grit then took to them with a matte black caliper paint from autobarnz. Not bad for $17. Oh and it has rear pods, got em from osaka in halam, vu painted em up.

Trent take everything else off the line. Unplug the phones etc etc, no line filters etc. unplug and plug the router back in, then see what it syncs at. That will rule out something environmental at your end. If it is still shit, log a phone call with Telstra saying your phone line drops and is crackly and that your Internet is slow.
  7. rota g-force... these are 18x9 +30
  8. tyres would be a factor as well for sure. what size is your wheel? im on a 350mm, 330/320mm may help with less angle. but the street tires dont have the same bite as the r-comp.
  9. I think the camera needs to go up 5 inches to see the road more. The car looks to be behaving pretty well. shorty track

login to your router / modem and have a look at what its sync'd at. It maybe with all the water we have been having the pit is flooded or something.
  11. Saved by the calendar reminder. See ya there.
  12. I think you will find all FRP / glass providers will have poorly fitting items at one stage or another. This is my car with a bonnet from carmate, I had no problem with there customer service...ordered and paid for the bonnet, turn up the next day. I cant say the same for others we've got glass parts from...
  13. this makes me warm inside
  14. The timing was screwed up on the short track. Winton timing gave me a 1.10.x, racechrono gave me a 1.08.x and video gave me a 1.08.x The long track timing was working correctly though. As you say the beacon may have been somewhere else for the short track....? I use the Go Pro HD's in centre metered mode all the time. This means that it takes light readings from the centre of the video and not from inside the car. I'm cutting the vision of mine at the moment, but this is in my brothers car (white 33 gtst). Got a couple pieces of lightning in the video, crazy stuff. Watch out Stagea it's coming for you!
  15. Harry I see your point. Classes mean little to me as well, as my 210rwkw could (will) be up against 250rwkw+ Emo's, S and R chassis etc in club sprint. But who cares, its a fugg'n great track and a great event. Comm'on make the trip.
  16. Agreed, there is probably a need for a 'personal open class' and a 'workshop open class'. Or something like that. Where the 'personal' class has a similar rule to clubsprint, where the driver must be the owner (not a company owned car etc), with non-pro drivers. You must have ownership papers etc etc. Then 'workshop' is for all the others, pro drivers, workshop cars etc etc.
  17. Looks good. I'm gona sign up to club sprint.
  18. Also this is my favorite footage from the weekend. Watch out for the piece of kitty litter from an earlier session.
  19. Youtube embed is much easier in the new version of the software. Use the full editor and click the media button. Toffy from 8:00 onward is madness. Cars all over the place.
  20. Out at PI on the weekend. Droped the GoPro HD in a couple of different spots on the car. I've got another good one still to cut up.
  21. DECA is all about sheep stations anyway....
  22. yes a life was lost, but thank shit that he crashed into a pole and not an innocent motorist or some poor bastard out walking the dog or something.
  23. I know that this is not a race car. But it made me cry none the less.
