  2. are you sure its +0 stock? http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp
  3. I wouldn't say the NS hoodie makes the SAU hoodie look like a 2 min job. The SAU hoddie is more subtle.
  4. We've replaced the rack in a '95 1.5 with a rack out of a '97 s2 is that helps. Dropped right in.
  5. As per the other thread. I'm on pedders camber bolts/bush and 2nd hand cusco upper arm from j-imports. The bush isnt set at max and I'm running the arm on max. On the wheel aligner its -3Deg. Your running at least 10mm lower than I am, so -3.5deg will be no problems. The arm in single piece, unlike the jjr arms. Piece of piss to install. jjr do a lower arm dont they? wide track on the front
  6. It was a great spectacle last year. It is something you don't get to do that often. The venue is close to melbourne, friends and family can come along. That out weighs the session or two you may miss for the event. You had a few prangs last year, that slowed the event down. I don't see why you couldn't get through the groups quicker without that issue. Knowing what you do now, parking (lack of), sign-in (30deg, line out the door) should be much better.
  7. Calder twilight ftw! Must make the end of it in one piece... You and me both marty.
  8. The momo wheel is mesmerising.
  9. ditto, the Z had a couple extra km down the main straight. Just a couple. damn your so smooth Ant.

    Trackdays

Get in on it! V8's have just been there, track is generally good after they were there. It was last year.
  11. Your correct, replace the standard kit on the outside. I'm not sure if the kit give more than the standard, but you may want to do the inner as well. http://www.whiteline.com.au/instruction/206_KCA347.pdf
  12. Oh I thought the rb26 may end up in the 32 sedan Great to hear youre both ok.
  13. You can tee off the hose highlighted in the pic. Trace the hose back, it should connected to the back of the intake plenum.
  14. Trace that vac line back, it should attach to the back of the intake plenum. From the video you are not getting boost at all. Does it sound like a diesel when the bonnet is open? Open the bonnet, rev it up and down you should hear a nice intake and exhaust note. There shouldn't be any roughnes. If there is, maybe mani gasket or turbo to mani. Alternatively, take the cat off and see if there are bits of wheel in there. Though, there would normally be a grinding / strange sound from the turbo if that was the case.

    Trackdays

MSCA are generally vintage cars so may do 90dba+ days at PI. I'm doing MSCA at Sandown on the 5th. One last blast there for the year.
  16. The day ran pretty well and we got heaps of sessions. An outback went front on into the outside (?) wall at the hay shed. There was talk of carnage the day before though. Aquaplane and crash on the front straight?
  17. In R18 or R17? I remember Dunc (?) saying something about the R18's having that problem in his door to door racing category, in another thread.
  18. Swapped over to HC+ for a couple of sprint days now. Obviously you have to sell your kidneys to buy a set of these. The last few sets of A1RM were only giving me 2 days days before backing plate. The HC+ give 5 track days till the backing plate. They also have far more initial bite, don't cover all the rotor slots with material and have a greater fade point. A1RM are great for anyone doing 4-5 track days a year. If you are looking for something more I can recommend HC+.
  19. Harry was this with v70a?
  20. while not a skyline, still good.
  21. sounds familiar...200kw GTST vs Audi, BMW, Porsche etc them doing 6 seconds a lap lower but 80kmh down the straight faster. Adds to the excitement of the day. I'm there to have some fun and so are they, I wouldn't have it any other way. Lights on means get the $!@% out of the way mr Audi, please remember. Back to the OP. There is a fine line between safety and involvement in the sport. Regulating for ROPS in sprint events...fast cars must have them, then everyone must have them. Then...no one turns up to the track days.
  22. I'm at a wedding on the Island Saturday, win win. prep work...has wheels and tires, pads, oil. yep ready. (tires are rooted though...)
  23. mate have you still got this?
