  1. vote 1 for cube at DECA..... So you are going to run the 3 cars around? or is one due for the FS section?
  2. [email protected] Email then and beg?
  3. AROCA are at Winton on the 8th. MSCA are at the Island on the 29th or something. The Trident track day at Sandown was canned due to jumps racing or some shit. That would have been the pick of the bunch for august.
  4. Its tempting, I'm not heading to SA at this stage. But I maybe persuaded You should head to Winton this Saturday with WRX club. Yeh the old man likes his bikes as well. His lines in the car are somewhat 'abnormal' as well. Update on the Island 1.51.9
  5. in any case, make sure you let us know where and when
  6. that is the spirit! wtf is with mario in the punto? what happen to evo?
  7. also give the swaybar links in the rear a tighten. more specifically the part of the link that fits through the arm.

  9. it kinda helps they run/own the track and run/own/home of the insuring body. fun day maybe be an option for you, not sure how you would work timing in with that many cars on the track (re: insurance nightmare) . if your interested in times and having fun with your mates on the track (relaxed), look into the tampered motorsport, circuit club or otr days. they will generally group you up with your mates. melb s15 had a huge group cars in one group at the start of the year with tampered. passenger laps all day are a nice bonus as well.
  10. anything from high teens to high 40's, just like any other track day.
  11. It's a 'multi-club even' so it will be. Non Championship Class - for all other non HSV or FPV&XR Owners Club competitors
  12. nice to see the weather held up. rained all day at pi so what was the rexy to skyline ratio?
  13. strange day with the standing water on the track and good times. just proves that smoother driving wins out. bested my pb by 0.1. 1.26.6, getting a good exit out of 12 was pretty hard. was it a solo can around the cooler piping that saved the day?
  14. yes coming along to laugh at the rest of us is encouraged. just turn up to sandown through the dandy rd entrance. security on gate will ask you who is running the day, maybe. park out the back of the pits, with all the other cars. you can stand up the top of the pits or wonder through.
  15. inside the front right wheel arch, lap around winton.
  16. yes that is cams... from what ive seen go through scrute, the cage doesnt have to have a cams sticker or anything on it. just meet the cams requirements. its upto the guy going through your car on the day. if you get a hard ass scrute, then tough. and yes you will need an additional restraint. the double system on post '89 (?) bonnets passes sometimes...again depends if you get a scrute with a pole where the sun dont shine...they will want an independent restraint. (bunnings is across the road, i know from experience...) if you dont want to screw around and argue with the, great, fantastic work the scrute do on the day. drop into bunnings and get parts to make one of these up http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Se...onnet+restraint
  17. did i miss read? some (all) of those deca pics from the nov deca?
  18. i got approx 20 track days out of the 595RS, plus driving to and from the track, cruise days, DECA etc. ~ 6-7,000km over 6 months they grip well down to the wear indicators, then start to squeal and slide. went to ku36 and did ~8 track days in 3-4 months, they are down to the wear indicators and have very little grip. back on 595RSR now, love em. ~6 track days so far, they are wearing well. the grip is the wet and dry is fantastic. and as i said all four have the 'line' in them this time around. i do find the RS and RSR are not as progressive as the ku36 tho, when the federals loose grip they really let go. the ku36 seem to give you a bit more of an indication.
  19. warning. you may send your passenger through the windscreen the first couple of times
  20. great work guys.
  21. its not a 'race' so no need to have the car 100% ha
  22. as always Jarrod, you are the photo god.
  23. meshed some videos together. well organised as always, thanks team. stoopid witches hats! grrrr
  24. video from inside the wheel well on the back track as DECA shep. KU36 235/45 r17 tires.
