  1. -3.4 is heaps on stock bushes.... how low is it? from guard to center of hub. mine is too low atm, 340mm, which should mean that i've got camber on tap. but -2.5 is my max with pedders camber bolts. im running -2 on a track based setup.
  2. im running 595 RS. very happy with them. the RS-R are stickier and have harder sidewalls, so would be worth it over the RS. plus the RS is discontinued now. or the KU-36, quite a lot of guys running those. they are about $100 a corner cheaper than RS-R's. they both handle very well in the wet. i've done PI twice in the wet with them, heaps of grip. i was following a guy running ku-36 on one of the days, he seems to like them.
  3. lol i was laughing at the yellow evo. then i saw you arse going around and started to laugh harder!!! heahea was a classic.
  4. turn 9 owes me one. i'll be there
  5. from about 40 second in
  6. favorite pic of the day couple more here
  7. yeh was a pretty good day. fighting with high water temps tho... would have liked a 1.40.x but could only really get 2-3 laps in. russ killed me in the super sprint....heaheah coming into v8 turn one, i was like, yeh i know i can break later here and catch up to him....nup!!! totally psyched me out. lol
  8. ya and the first couple back arent going to be packed.... this may mean racing is back....
  9. this is up early... the intersection has changed there as well for anyone who hasnt been out there this year. there is a fly over for the donnybrook rd traffic. there is one of those electronic road signs with hungry jack logo flashing on it just before there, lol its in the middle of no were im surprised someone hasnt hacked it yet.
  10. wow fax machine needs a new toner cartridge now....
  11. arh, sooo much work. forms and money have gone. im in.
  12. In the same price point tho?
  13. there is a HUGE lip on those rotors. also, i taped up and painted my rda rotor hats black. autobarn brake caliper paint, newspaper and some tape. pretty easy. these are my rears. (there is a lot of brake dust in the slots here, just after a track day)
  14. was wondering this at the gala the other night as well
  15. on my first track day i found the yum cha fluid to goto shit after a three'ish laps. i would bleed it off. i was recommended motul rbf600. seems to work well. ive done 3 changes with it. get it from autobarn etc there is a missive thread on oil in gen maintenance. ive been using 4100 10w40 and changing very frequently (2-3 track days), its goes dark pretty quick. but most would recommend chrono v300. its exy, tho not more than doing a rebuild on your engine but... was going to give 8100 a try, but its lighter? once the 4100 is hot the pressure is quite low.
  16. well just putting the final touches on the silver car.
  17. that is a mates install. iirc he used the largest pack you can buy, the mega pack or something. yeh, its pretty heavy as well.
  18. yeh over double the price of qfm
  19. scratch that, damn your quick. in the mail today.
  20. ive got a membership application pending for this event as well. so when you get a chance can you please process that, so I can organise CAMS etc.
  21. iirc the slots go backwards like this / / / / / /
  22. disappointment, from the rb30. never. the back of the track is nice and open lol last time i was a winton a r31 lost its left rear wheel (the whole wheel and studs). through the 's' onto the old front straight. now that would have been a ride and a half.
  23. gtr seats are meant to be lower, iirc ive got a 33 gtst and the stock seat was pretty high as well. i moved to a drift blade (r34 gtr / east bear style) seat with no rail. all under $600 you cant move it, but it damn low. only way you could go much lower is a fixed back with side mounting.
  24. mine does the same. if you are stopped, then press real hard on the pedal it moves down a little plus a little noise.
