  1. They are a week between, that's the only issue I have.
  2. I think the plan is to allow PI and Winton, Calder and PI are in. However each driver will drop 2 of their worst rounds of the championship and not the usual 1 round.
  3. Yep, haven't done anything to the motor. We've replaced all the ball joints and some various bushes after NSW Time Attack. A bit of last minute stuffing around to get everything to fit and align. Took the car out to Winton on Saturday. New pads and new brake fluid (the brakes were sh!T at Wakefield as well). Track was extremely slippy in the morning session, then instantly overheated. Was just starting to some grip coming through in the afternoon session. Work still to do - alter the squat angle on the rear - stiffer spring front and rear - play more with the rear weight balance
  4. We where scattered all over the place anyway. Still a good day, just lacked the social aspect a little. Lots of fun had on track esp when they combine group E and F (why I have no idea). I just missed the airborn Pirus over the turn 10 exit curve.
  5. Disappointed I couldn't get there. Winton Saturday and karts Sunday was just too much to try and fit in.

  7. Remainder of year rounds - Saturday August 30th WINTON with Tampered, Sunday Sept 28th PHILLIP ISLAND with PIARC Special non-championship round at Broadford on Friday the 14th of November.
  8. The CP5070D54 sized pads fit. Most manufactures make these. You can get them in DS2500/3000, HC800/Club Racer, Blue (DP5006)/Orange (DP9006) Stuff. I really liked the project-mu, but it was costing too much. So used the Blue, then went to the Orange when I stopped driving it on the road.

  11. Ah those 2 timed laps I got in were glorious.... Actually, in current spec with the limiter off I expect around a 1.26.

  13. Great too see so many faces around. Yes I did try and remove the speed limiter from the Evo. Only to have the battery go flat... The speed limiter is gone now and car working fine. (Frkn Evo's) Thanks too Squires for the food, amazing as always. Not sure what others thoughts were, but this day ran better than previous days of late. Bearing in mind a wrx dumped oil and some chev driver painted the armco. There is a discussion in the champ thread about the 30th of August at Winton. Get in there and have ur say.

  15. You should be ok, a long as it has the two methods of fastening. They can be a bit picky on after market bonnets though.

  18. Madden is drinking beer instead. I'll be there, kinda wanted to bring the Skyline. However all the splitter mounts are bent and I need another weekend to fix them. But I'll be there in something. Just put whatever down on the form, they will correct it at sign in on the day.

  22. You shouldn't need to login to sign up. Their system has stuffed up somewhere. Not to panic, if they don't get their shit together by the end of this week we'll head back to PI for the PIARC on the 17th (day after WRX day).
  23. I've killed 3 boxes now. The last one was re-conditioned and did 3yrs of track work. Bottom line, the synchro clips fall off most of the gears over time. Then the teeth start to catch and you get that crunching sound. Then eventually the fork or the synchro blasts itself to pieces. I replace mine every 7-10 track days depending on heat.
