  1. Rexmas Sunday 18th of December WRX VIC are again putting on Sandown Rexmas this year. Under AASA this time around. No timing and 80% laps with passengers all day. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included in the price. I know a few of you are entering, I have. Sunday 18th of December $200 http://wrx.com.au/event-2379991/
  2. They are ok at -3, the outside temps get 10 or so degrees higher than the inside. If you can, run 3.5-4.
  3. First post now contains suppregs for the event.
  4. The car is a pleasure to drive and good to see you knock a heap of time off your PB.
  5. It's a 10 + 38 with a 15mm spacer. The tyre gets close to the body and the arm but doesn't touch. The guards front and rear are rolled flat.
  6. It's you to be good to put some sticky tyres in and see how it goes.
  7. Making some changes so that it can be log booked under 3D sports sedans. - removing the ignition barrel (steering lock) - wire in push button start - remote battery isolator - improve the cooling (oil and water)
  8. I'll be there but not driving (the old man is driving). So if anyone would like some coaching I will be more than happy to help.
  9. A very full field again. But after lunch it thinned out. I wasn't supposed to be in the skyline, so we threw the old a050 on and bamb 1.40.5 with traffic. Car has a 37 in it.
  10. Bought a mate the 720p generic GoPro style camera from target for this bday. Comes with all the mounting gear. Video quality is good for the price.
  11. Funnily enough the NS2-R120 are my pick of the budget road/track tyre. The yoki and hankook are in a different league, both price and performance. But out of the NT03, 123s, RSRR, KU36 battle, I'd pick the soft NS2-R anyday.
  12. Have gone halfies in the regularity, driving a GC8 WRX.
  13. With the club racer I was getting lock with hard application. The HC are more progressive and you can stand on them harder without lock.
  14. The club racer had to much bite for me. So I've been using the hc800 since WTAC last year. They are lasting pretty well. Good progressive bite, but they do fade off on my 330mm rotor. Which is more disk heat related than pad I think.
  15. Officially there is a gap in May. Back in June with PIARC again, this time we will communicate with them to aid groupings.
  16. You still have it?Give me the keys, I'll warm her up.
  17. It has fantastic mechanical grip. 255's are perfect for the E36.
  18. On the AD08 there is a fine ballance of where you want the torque to come on. As the tyre doesn't like shock loading.
  19. The 33 is on the control AD08R and I can't get 295 under the rear without cutting. The S14 was only on 265 RE55s. It needs some 296 AO50 for sure.
  20. What tyres are you on? Serious pucker up moment on the exit of T1!
  21. 2-3 seconds at Winton. Haven't had the chance at PI.
  22. Has to have rego for WTAC rules, waste money really. PFC is PnP and just works. My car is pretty simple, so it works well.
  23. 285 AD08R on my car and 265 RE55s on the S14
  24. Was perfect weather, lots of very interesting cars. Came home with the Street 1st trophy. And a good test day in the topstage s14
  25. Back on the AD08R for Vic Time Attack. Knocked off a few tenths from my PB. Came first with a 1.44.2
